But tonight I reflected on the past few weeks away from my family and decided to talk about it.

I feel you man, my parter and I do 6-8 weeks out OTR so we can get a full week of home time and those little moments with family and home cooked meals are everything. The appreciation after the sacrifice is so different…

Safe travels this weekend then. Being back on the road so soon after getting home sounds pretty exhausting.
Those little things that feel ordinary and that we often ignore will be very nostalgic when we are far away. Enjoy your time with your family, friends.

Wow, what a long two and a half weeks apart from family. I can imagine how it feels like the little things that we often ignore can become things that we are very grateful for. Like seeing children fighting with each other can be a little thing that we really miss when we are away from them.
