Another workday in our busy week, and as always, I’d like to start by wishing you a great day, filled with good times and little joys that make all the difference. The routine may seem repetitive, but every day brings a different nuance, an unexpected detail that makes it unique.
My week promises to be a little calmer than the last one, though we never stop being prepared for the unexpected events that tend to pop up along the way. That’s the magic of working life; you organize, plan, and prepare, but there are always surprises that test us and teach us to value flexibility and patience.
Yesterday was wonderful, even though the weather was a bit odd. The sky dawned with a few scattered clouds, and the air remained cool, as it had rained heavily during the early morning. That intense rain left its mark on the air—a scent of wet earth that sets off my allergies, but that aroma always connects me with nature.
Despite the changeable weather, I was able to take excellent photos on my way to the Sunsol Ecoland hotel. The island, as always, was capricious, playing with its sudden shifts of light and shadow, yet gifting smiles to those who know how to appreciate its charm. It’s as if nature itself were inviting us to pause and capture its finest moments.
Otro día más de trabajo en nuestra semana de labores, y como siempre me gusta comenzar deseándoles que su jornada sea genial, llena de buenos momentos y de pequeñas alegrías que hagan la diferencia. La rutina puede parecer repetitiva, pero cada día trae consigo un matiz distinto, un detalle inesperado que lo convierte en único.
Mi semana promete ser un poco más tranquila que la anterior, aunque nunca dejamos de estar preparados para los imprevistos que suelen aparecer en el camino. Esa es la magia de la vida laboral; uno organiza, planea y se prepara, pero siempre hay sorpresas que nos ponen a prueba y nos enseñan a valorar la flexibilidad y la paciencia.
El día de ayer fue estupendo, aunque el clima estuvo un poco raro. El cielo amaneció con algunas nubes dispersas y el ambiente se mantuvo fresco, pues había llovido con fuerza durante la madrugada. Esa lluvia intensa dejó huellas en el aire, un olor a tierra mojada que alborota mis alergias, pero ese aroma siempre me conecta con la naturaleza.
A pesar de la variación del clima, pude tomar excelentes fotos en mi recorrido hacia el hotel Sunsol Ecoland. La Isla, como siempre, se mostró caprichosa, jugando con sus cambios repentinos de luz y sombra, pero regalando sonrisas a quienes saben apreciar su encanto. Es como si la naturaleza misma nos invitara a detenernos y capturar sus mejores momentos.
I really enjoyed this hike, not only because of the hills that dot the landscape, but also because of the proximity to the sea. Its shades of blue are so beautiful that sometimes I think no camera can fully capture the essence and beauty unfolding before my eyes. The photos are a memento, yes, but the experience of being there is incomparable.

Sus tonalidades de azul son tan hermosas que a veces pienso que ninguna cámara logra captar por completo la esencia y la belleza que se despliega ante mis ojos. Las fotos son un recuerdo, sí, pero la experiencia de estar allí, es incomparable.
After enjoying the ride, we arrived at our destination: the hotel. The task for the day was to inspect the Australian tank that we had cleaned and disinfected last Saturday. We were greeted by the quality control department with their usual enthusiasm. All of its members are incredibly charismatic and considerate, and working alongside them is a real pleasure.
Después de disfrutar el trayecto, llegamos a nuestro destino; el hotel. La tarea del día era chequear el tanque australiano que habíamos limpiado y desinfectado el pasado sábado. Nos recibió el departamento de calidad con el entusiasmo que siempre los caracteriza. Todos sus miembros son personas con gran carisma y sensibilidad, y trabajar junto a ellos es un verdadero placer.
We climbed up to the Australian tank and, after checking its readings, confirmed that everything was in order. They told us the work had been excellent, which filled me with pride—not just for myself, but for the entire team that worked hard and gave it their all. Those moments of recognition, though simple, are incredibly valuable because they remind us that every effort counts.
Before heading back down, I couldn’t resist taking a photo of the lagoon visible from that vantage point. The view was magnificent, and I felt the need to share it, because there are landscapes that deserve to be shown and celebrated.
Subimos al tanque australiano y, al revisar sus valores, comprobamos que todo estaba en orden. Nos contaron que el trabajo había sido excelente, lo cual me llenó de orgullo. No solo por mí, sino por todo el equipo que se esforzó y dio lo mejor de sí. Esos momentos de reconocimiento, aunque sencillos, tienen un gran valor porque nos recuerdan que cada esfuerzo cuenta.
Antes de bajar, no pude resistirme a tomar una foto de la laguna que se veía desde ese punto. La vista era magnífica, y sentí la necesidad de compartirla, porque hay paisajes que merecen ser mostrados y celebrados.
Once the work was finished, we took a tour of the hotel. I’m always impressed by how impeccably clean the facilities are, and how the staff, no matter what task they’re performing, always have a smile ready to offer. That positive attitude is contagious and makes every visit a pleasant one.
Con el trabajo terminado, dimos un recorrido por el hotel. Siempre me impresiona cómo mantienen sus áreas impecables, y cómo los trabajadores, sin importar la tarea que estén realizando, tienen una sonrisa lista para ofrecer. Esa actitud positiva contagia y hace que cada visita sea agradable.
We couldn’t linger too long, because our son had called us; his motorcycle wouldn’t start, and he needed help. So we set off on our way back, satisfied that we had done our part and happy to be there for our family as well.
Our day’s work was simple, yes, but very meaningful. Sometimes it’s not about big achievements, but those little moments that remind us of the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and the love we put into every action.

No podíamos demorarnos demasiado, porque nuestro hijo nos había llamado; la moto no le arrancaba y necesitaba apoyo. Así que emprendimos el camino de regreso, con la satisfacción de haber cumplido con nuestra labor y con la alegría de poder estar también para nuestra familia.
Nuestro día de trabajo fue sencillo, sí, pero muy significativo. A veces no se trata de grandes logros, sino de esos pequeños momentos que nos recuerdan la importancia de la constancia, del trabajo en equipo y del amor que ponemos en cada acción.
