[ENG/ESP] Ending the Week with Beautiful Scenery
I wish you all a beautiful day, a weekend full of sunshine, and, above all, a wonderful rest that allows you to recharge your batteries and start the coming week with renewed energy. As for us, we also plan to rest this Saturday, as long as nothing unexpected comes up that forces us to rush off to work, because we’re feeling pretty exhausted. It’s been an intense week—the kind you feel in your shoulders and legs, but also the kind that leaves you with the satisfaction of a job well done.
Next week, God willing, will be a little lighter. Our friend Luis will be back at work full-time. He’s been feeling better this week, but we still let him rest every other day because he was still experiencing body aches from the virus that had affected him. We didn’t want to push him; health always comes first. Even so, his presence was felt, because when you’ve worked with someone for so many years, their absence weighs heavily, and their return always brings relief and joy.
Today I want to share with you how our Friday went at Sunsol Ecoland, a day that began very early, almost with the first song of the birds. We left home when the sun was just beginning to peek out, and the weather was already showing signs of improvement after several rainy days. That feeling of clarity in the sky is always uplifting, as if the day promised good things from the start.
Les deseo un día hermoso, un fin de semana lleno de luz y, sobre todo, un descanso maravilloso que les permita recargar energías y comenzar la próxima semana con un ánimo renovado. Nosotros, por nuestra parte, también pensamos descansar este sábado, siempre y cuando no surja algún imprevisto que nos haga salir corriendo a trabajar, porque el agotamiento que llevamos encima es bastante fuerte. Ha sido una semana intensa, de esas que se sienten en los hombros y en las piernas, pero también de esas que dejan la satisfacción del deber cumplido.
La semana que viene, si Dios quiere, será más ligera. Nuestro amigo Luis ya se incorporará al trabajo al cien por ciento. Esta semana se ha sentido mejor, pero igual lo dejamos descansar días alternos porque todavía tenía dolores en el cuerpo por el virus que lo afectó. No queríamos forzarlo; la salud siempre va primero. Aun así, su presencia se sintió, porque cuando uno trabaja tantos años con alguien, su ausencia pesa, y su regreso siempre trae alivio y alegría.
Hoy quiero compartirles cómo transcurrió nuestro viernes en Sunsol Ecoland, un día que comenzó muy temprano, casi con el primer canto de los pájaros. Salimos de casa cuando el sol apenas empezaba a asomarse, y ya el clima mostraba señales de mejora después de varios días lluviosos. Esa sensación de claridad en el cielo siempre anima, como si el día prometiera cosas buenas desde el inicio.
We took Simplicio Rodríguez Avenue, one of my favorite routes, because it runs along the coast and offers beautiful views that I never tire of admiring. The sea was especially beautiful, with a deep blue that seemed to blend into the sky, creating a spectacle of colors that only nature can offer. Between those landscapes and the pleasant company of my husband, the trip felt short and very enjoyable.
Tomamos la avenida Simplicio Rodríguez, una de mis rutas favoritas, porque bordea la franja costera y nos regala vistas hermosas que nunca me canso de admirar. El mar estaba especialmente bello, con un azul intenso que parecía mezclarse con el cielo, creando un espectáculo de colores que solo la naturaleza puede ofrecer. Entre esos paisajes y la compañía agradable de mi esposo, el trayecto se hizo corto y muy placentero.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with the usual warmth.
Al llegar al hotel, fuimos recibidos con la amabilidad de siempre.
We went up to the main tank to perform the chlorination and disinfection, accompanied by one of the technicians from the quality control department. We worked as a team, each of us focused on our own tasks, and when we were done, we measured the readings. Everything went very smoothly, which left both of us satisfied. That feeling that the job was done flawlessly always brings peace of mind.
Subimos al tanque principal para realizar la cloración y desinfección, acompañados por una de las técnicas del departamento de calidad. Trabajamos en equipo, cada uno concentrado en su parte, y al finalizar medimos los valores. Todo salió muy bien, lo que nos dejó satisfechos a ambas partes. Esa sensación de que el trabajo quedó impecable siempre da tranquilidad.
And of course, standing in the main tank, surrounded by such beautiful scenery, I couldn't pass up the chance to take a few photos. The view was simply spectacular: the sea, the mountains, the clear sky… a perfect scene that was worth capturing.
Y claro, estando en el tanque principal, rodeados de esos paisajes tan hermosos, no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de tomar algunas fotografías. La vista era simplemente espectacular: el mar, las montañas, el cielo despejado… un cuadro perfecto que merecía ser guardado.
After finishing the photoshoot, we left feeling happy knowing that our weekend had finally begun. That feeling of wrapping up the day on a high note and looking forward to a well-deserved break is one of the most rewarding.
