Today I want to share with you a little piece of my day, one of those days that, although simple, are full of special moments where natural beauty prevails.
This weekend I have to work, as I have several commitments with the Sunsol hotel chain. Although many people prefer to rest on weekends, for me it is an opportunity to continue growing, learning, and, of course, fulfilling my responsibilities. Besides, when you love what you do, work becomes a beautiful and rewarding experience.
This past Friday was undoubtedly an excellent day. We had scheduled a technical visit to the Sunsol Isla Caribe hotel, as they have been experiencing some difficulties with one of their water filters in recent weeks. As this hotel is located very close to my home and, fortunately for me, also to the sea, it was not necessary to leave early. It is more convenient for them if we visit in the afternoon, and that suits me perfectly, as I can take care of some commitments from home in the morning, which allows me to organize my time better and fulfill everything I have scheduled.
So, accompanied by my husband, we set off on the short journey to the hotel. The road had everything to make it beautiful: the sea breeze, the sun, which was strong but not oppressive on this day, and the imposing view of Guayamurí Hill accompanying us for part of our journey. That hill has something special, an energy that transmits peace and a beauty that never ceases to amaze me.
Upon arriving at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the quality department team. It is always a pleasure to work with committed and friendly people. We went to the water treatment plant to carry out the necessary checks. We adjusted the system parameters until the water quality levels were within the required standards. It was meticulous work, but very satisfying. Nothing compares to the feeling of knowing that you are contributing to the well-being of guests and the smooth running of a place that is so important for local and international tourism.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un pedacito de mi día, una de esas jornadas que, aunque sencillas, están llenas de momentos especiales dónde prima la belleza natural.
Este fin de semana me toca trabajar, ya que tengo varios compromisos con la cadena de hoteles Sunsol. Aunque muchos prefieren descansar los fines de semana, para mí es una oportunidad de seguir creciendo, aprendiendo y, por supuesto, cumpliendo con mis responsabilidades. Además, cuando uno ama lo que hace, el trabajo se convierte en una experiencia hermosa y gratificante.
Este viernes que recién culminó fue, sin duda, un día excelente. Teníamos programada una visita técnica al hotel Sunsol Isla Caribe, ya que en las últimas semanas han estado presentando algunas dificultades con uno de sus filtros de agua. Como este hotel está ubicado muy cerca de mi casa y, para mi fortuna, también del mar, no fue necesario salir desde temprano. A ellos les resulta más conveniente que los visitemos en la tarde, y a mí me viene perfecto, así en la mañana puedo atender algunos compromisos desde casa, lo que me permite organizar mejor mi tiempo y cumplir con todo lo que tengo programado.
Así que, en compañía de mi esposo, emprendimos el corto trayecto hacia el hotel. El camino tenía todo para ser hermoso, la brisa marina, el sol que en este día estaba con fuerza pero sin agobiar, y la imponente vista del cerro Guayamurí acompañándonos en una parte de nuestro recorrido. Ese cerro tiene algo especial, una energía que transmite paz y una belleza que nunca deja de sorprenderme.
Al llegar al hotel, fuimos recibidos cordialmente por el equipo del departamento de calidad. Siempre es un gusto trabajar con personas comprometidas y amables. Nos dirigimos a la planta potabilizadora para realizar las verificaciones necesarias. Ajustamos los parámetros del sistema hasta que los niveles de calidad del agua estuvieron dentro de los estándares requeridos. Fue un trabajo minucioso, pero muy satisfactorio. Nada se compara con la sensación de saber que estás contribuyendo al bienestar de los huéspedes y al buen funcionamiento de un lugar tan importante para el turismo local en internacional.
Once the work was finished, and taking advantage of the fact that the hotel was right on the seafront, we decided to take a little break. We walked along the beach, listening to and watching the waves roll in and out. Although the sea was a little choppy, it was a mesmerizing sight. The palm trees swayed gently in the wind, and the trees seemed to whisper.
Una vez finalizado el trabajo, y aprovechando que el hotel está justo frente al mar, decidimos darnos un pequeño respiro. Caminamos por la playa, escuchando y mirando el vaivén de las olas, que aunque el mar estaban un poco encrespadas, ofrecían un espectáculo hipnotizante. Las palmeras se mecían suavemente con el viento, y los árboles parecían susurrar.
In the distance, the fishermen's boats rested on the shore, ready to set sail at dawn in search of new catches.
A lo lejos, los botes de los pescadores descansaban en la orilla, listos para zarpar al amanecer en busca de nuevas faenas.
It was a magical moment. We sat for a while contemplating the horizon, breathing deeply; it's always good to appreciate our surroundings. Sometimes, in the midst of our daily hustle and bustle, we forget how important it is to pause for a moment, appreciate and value nature, which is always there to give us a beautiful gift.
After that revitalizing walk, we returned home with our hearts full and smiles on our faces. It was a productive day, but also one full of beauty and tranquility, where work and natural beauty become accomplices.

Fue un momento mágico. Nos sentamos un rato a contemplar el horizonte, a respirar profundamente, siempre es bueno apreciar lo que nos rodea.
