A Monday when nature will be our companion for the day
Greetings, I hope you have a great and productive start to the week.
Today I want to share with you how our first workday went—it was quite busy from the very start and full of those little details that give each day its own charm.
We left home first thing in the morning, as we usually do, ready to carry out our chlorination and disinfection rounds. This time, our destinations were the Sunsol Unik Hotel and the Parque Costa Azul Shopping Center, two places that are a regular part of our routine, but which always welcome us with great enthusiasm.
The weather was a bit strange at dawn; the sky had a mix of clouds that at times darkened everything, and then parted, letting in an unexpected brightness. That play of light and shadow added a special touch to the journey. Despite the changeable weather, nothing stopped us from enjoying and capturing some of the beautiful scenery that nature gifted us as we made our way to our first destination.

Hoy quiero compartirles cómo transcurrió nuestro primer día laboral, que estuvo bastante activo desde muy temprano y lleno de esos pequeños detalles que hacen que cada jornada tenga su propio encanto.
Salimos de casa a primera hora, como solemos hacerlo, preparados para cumplir con nuestro recorrido de clorado y desinfección. En esta ocasión, nuestros destinos eran el Hotel Sunsol Unik y el Centro Comercial Parque Costa Azul, dos lugares que forman parte habitual de nuestra rutina, pero que siempre nos reciben con excelente ánimo.
El clima amaneció un poco extraño; el cielo tenía una mezcla de nubes que por momentos oscurecían todo, y luego se abrían dejando pasar una claridad inesperada. Ese juego de luces y sombras le daba un toque especial al camino. A pesar de lo cambiante del clima, nada impidió que pudiéramos disfrutar y capturar algunos paisajes hermosos que la naturaleza nos regalaba mientras avanzábamos hacia nuestro primer destino.
Our first stop was at Sunsol Unik, where we carried out the disinfection and chlorination routine for the main tank. Everything went very smoothly; the parameters performed as expected, which gave us a great sense of satisfaction. It’s always reassuring to see that our work is paying off and that every step is carried out with precision. That sense of accomplishment early in the morning gave us an extra boost to tackle the rest of the day.
Nuestra primera parada fue en el Sunsol Unik, donde realizamos la rutina de desinfección y cloración del tanque principal. Todo salió muy bien, los parámetros se comportaron como esperábamos y eso nos llenó de satisfacción. Siempre es reconfortante ver que el trabajo rinde frutos y que cada paso se cumple con precisión. Esa sensación de deber cumplido temprano en la mañana nos dio un impulso extra para continuar con el resto del día.
After finishing up at the hotel, we headed to our second stop: the Parque Costa Azul Shopping Center. As we walked in, the first thing that caught our eye was the decor, which was completely decked out for the World Cup. Colors, balloons, and themed decorations… everything was beautifully done and gave the place a festive atmosphere.
We got right to work on the chlorination and disinfection routine. This time it took us a little longer to get the parameters exactly where they needed to be. The mall had recently been supplied with well water, and that always requires an additional adjustment to stabilize the levels. However, with patience and dedication, we managed to get everything in order. When the results finally came back correct, we felt that sense of relief you only get when you know you did the job the best way possible.
Al terminar en el hotel, nos dirigimos al segundo objetivo; el Centro Comercial Parque Costa Azul. Al entrar, lo primero que llamó nuestra atención fue la decoración, completamente ambientada para el mundial de fútbol. Colores, globos y detalles temáticos… todo estaba muy bien logrado y le daba un aire festivo al lugar.
Nos pusimos manos a la obra con la rutina de clorado y desinfección. Esta vez nos tomó un poco más de tiempo lograr que los parámetros quedaran exactamente como debían. El centro comercial había sido surtido recientemente con agua de pozo, y eso siempre exige un ajuste adicional para estabilizar los niveles. Sin embargo, con paciencia y dedicación, logramos que todo quedara en orden. Cuando finalmente los resultados dieron correctamente, sentimos ese alivio que solo se obtiene cuando sabes que hiciste el trabajo de la mejor manera posible.
With both tasks completed, all that was left was to head back home. Although the sky was still somewhat cloudy, the scenery was beautiful. I love looking at the hills and those shades of green that seem to change with every passing moment, just like the weather. Nature has that wonderful gift of relaxing us, clearing our minds, and washing away the day’s accumulated fatigue just by looking at it. It’s as if every view were a little gift to round out our day.
Con ambas tareas cumplidas, solo nos quedaba emprender el camino de regreso a casa. Aunque el cielo seguía algo nublado, los paisajes estaban hermosos. A mí me encanta ver los cerros y esos tonos verdes que parecen cambiar a cada instante como el clima. La naturaleza tiene ese don maravilloso de relajar, de despejar la mente y de quitar el cansancio acumulado del día con tan solo mirarla. Es como si cada vista fuera un pequeño regalo para cerrar nuestra jornada.
That’s how our workday went: busy, productive, and full of those simple moments that make it all worthwhile.
