[Daily Blog] Grocery shopping and restocking our home: a busy payday spent and family errands.
The best part about payday is going to the supermarket to buy some groceries that hopefully to last us 2 weeks. We were meant to go yesterday, but since my hubby has been busy we changed the day to today. First stop was the ATM.

âUnfortunately, it wasnât working. We hoped that the ones at the mall would be working...

âFortunately when we got their, there were 2 people waiting in the queue. So we took our time and sorted our cash and headed to the groceries.

âWe needed to purchase that will last us 2 weeks so there was plenty to buy. I bought
âpersonal hygene items,
âsnack items,
âfood items,
âand some cosmetics!

âOf course I had to buy something for myself! đ
We have headed through all the aisles and went to cashier to pay for everything. But with two boys things get complicated. Ryzen and Aiden were running around a lot.

âThey truly challenge their mum. But they did ask if I could take a picture of them by the big ice cream display. They had the cutest pose that there is no way I could say no! They did get a nice moment. When we were done with the groceries I thought we should have quick look through the kids sections to see if they can get any cheap slippers. Unfortunately, they are extremely expensive heere compared to where we usually buy them so we decided to just buy from Tri-Star.

âThey got to choose which ones they wanted. Ryzen didnât get his as they didnât have them his size. My hubby also found an awesome white t shirt that can go under his polo/barong. So he bought those. It was buy 1 get 1 so we got 2. I got a hair clip too. However, when we were about to head home we remembered that we needed to get some rice.

âBut because both my hubby and Ryzen were saying they were starving, we decided to grab some lunch from the local karinderia. We got 2 different types of pork. 3 plates of rice that has a free soup included. They tasted okay, however they seemed a bit smaller than usual. But it was still lovely and we filled our starving tummies.

âAfter eating my hubby bought the rice we needed for the next 2 weeks plus bought some viands from wet market. Aaand finally, we are off to go home! Such a busy day today and spent quite a bit, hope our money hasnât run out until our next pay days. But I really appreciate that we can get things thanks to my hubby that works super hard. Even though these seem like simple trips to the grocery store it really makes me realise how important it is to work hard to provide for our family.

Relate ako dito, sis! đ Talagang kapag grocery shopping, kailangan may listahan at budget kasi minsan ang bilis maubos ng pera kahit mga basic needs lang naman ang binibili. Haha! I also love the cute moment of your boys posing beside the ice cream display. At the end of the day, nakakapagod man at medyo magastos, at least napupuno ulit ang supplies sa bahay. We are always thankful for our hardworking husbands and for the blessings that allow us to provide for our family. đ

What a busy but productive day for your family! I smiled when I read about the boys posing beside the ice cream display. Ang cute naman nila! đThose little moments are often the happiest memories. I can understand the struggle of budgeting groceries for two weeks. Prices are getting higher these days, kaya kailangan talagang magplano nang mabuti. With the prices of basic necessities constantly going up, we really need to stretch our budget to make sure it lasts until our next payday. Almost everything has become so expensive these days!
By the way, you have two adorable little boys! That's one of the challenges of bringing kids to the grocery store, you'll definitely get your steps in chasing them around! Haha.
