Meeting people while hiking [ENG/ESP]
Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing great. This week we went hiking up a pretty steep mountain; we covered about 6 or 7 km and spent around 2 hours walking.
Hola hivers! Espero se encuentren genial, esta semana tocó ir a una montaña bastante inclinada, recorrimos aproximadamente unos 6 o 7km y duramos como unas 2 horas caminando.
Even though it was quite tall, there wasn't really a viewpoint from which you could see the city; instead, there were lots of trees all around and quite a few flower beds.
A pesar de que era bastante alto no había un mirador como tal en el que pudieras observar la ciudad, lo que habían eran muchos árboles rodeando todo y bastante platas de siembra.
We stopped by a few of the farms in the area; people saw us and waved, offering us things like fruits and vegetables from their crops. Generally speaking, people who work on farms tend to be friendly—I know this because you could say I grew up on one (long story)
Enteamos a algunas de las fincas de por ahí, la gente nos veía y saludaba, nos ofrecían cosas como frutas y verduras de sus cosechas, en general la gente que trabaja en fincas suele ser amable, lo sé porque se podría decir que crecí en una (larga historia)
All in all, it was a really nice and unique trip; we’d never seen so many people while hiking before.
En fin, un viaje bastante agradable y diferente, jamás habíamos visto a tantas personas mientras hacíamos senderismo.
Tremenda experiencia pero nada mejor que hacer caminatas en contacto con la naturaleza
