In the past there was uncertainty about where to find clean water; today there is relief and joy with a new sense of hope.

The boreholes funded by the Hive Blockchain have been instrumental in providing access to clean water for children and families who previously had to make long trips to get to a source of clean water. Now children like those in these photos can enjoy safe drinking water at or near their homes without having to travel far for it.

Even before the official opening ceremonies, the children pictured were visibly excited for the moment their communities would receive their clean water. The smiles on their faces speak volumes about their feelings of excitement and gratitude for the clean water that will allow them to live comfortably and begin each day with a fresh start.
