Nature has an indirect way of speaking with us, and its most amazing expression is in the sky. The photos I've taken remind me that it's incredibly easy to simply glance upwards and experience a sense of awe.
Regardless of how many times I view the sky, I still can't help but think that it will never appear "normal" to me.
Watching the sky constantly change, from the serene blue colours during the morning to the intense colours and ever-changing cloud formations during the rest of the day, each change creates an entirely new painting.

The scenes in these photos also tell me that you don't always have to create complexity to experience incredible power.
One of the things that makes the sky so much more breathtaking is the sun shining brightly behind the clouds. When this happens, the light is able to pass through the clouds, creating depth, contrast, and warmth. When this occurs, it seems as though the sky is performing a show specifically for those who take the time to stop and appreciate it.
Standing underneath a sky such as this offers a sense of calmness and reflection. The sky reminds me that although we are all very small, we are all part of nature. The sky slows down time and allows our minds to clear without needing to say a single thing.
The photos that I captured are more than just images of clouds and light. They are images of moments of peace, excitement, and gratitude for the natural world. Each of these images holds feelings that, quite often, words cannot adequately express.

Glancing upwards at the sky reminds us to slow down, breathe, and appreciate life as it truly is. Nature does not rush. However, nature never ceases to amaze. At times, all we may need is a moment in front of a beautiful sky to regain inspiration.
