They were formed by natural geological processes, from the erosion of the rocks of the Sierra de San Luis. Water over thousands of years has worn away the rock, creating the different waterfalls that make up the falls. The mountainous environment of the area created uneven terrain in the course of the Hueque River, which is the name of the falls.🏔️
