What motivated me to visit the cave—which isn't actually my first time, but it is the first time I'm going to delve into the legend—was a famous local story about a Portuguese ship being pursued by North African pirates. While escaping, a storm trapped their ship on the coastal rocks. They escaped the pirates by taking refuge in this cave. When the storm passed, they witnessed a miracle: the pirates had escaped, and they were saved. Because of this miraculous event, they built the chapel.📍🗺️

It's a shame that the chapel inside the cave was vandalized. And the two images were stolen; luckily, one was recovered and preserved in the convent.

Excelente publicación hermano sin duda qué el vídeo es increíble sobre el Santuario ó Cueva Pirata "Lapa Santa Margarita" es muy bueno dos cosas llamaron mí atención principalmente la bajada en vertical es muy peligroso y bueno ya cuándo se está dentro de las cuevas encontrarse con todo tipo de cosas referente a distintas religiones

Estw fue un viaje entretenido, con diferentes matices, me impresionó lo de la parte religiosa, pero sobre todo me sorprendió lo difícil que es acceder al lugar.
Buenos días @biologistbrito, que lugar más interesante. No sólo por el relato real o leyenda sobre los piratas, por las luces y sombras que acompañan el camino (dan bsatnte respeto) sino por la vigencia tanto del culto católico como de otros. Estoy seguro de que se siente algo especial, alguna energía especial estando por alla abajo.

Comparto tu postura, no creo que sea buena idea llevar a los niños a este tipo de aventuras, es muy arriesgado.
