Lumiar is a historic town and was officially inhabited and established as a city in the 13th century, a couple of centuries after the reconquests of King Afonso Henriques. Incredibly, some of the architecture from that era still survives in many palaces. It is a very expensive and luxurious area; many counts of Portugal built properties here.🌍😍

Currently, the theater museum is also attached to the gardens, which is another thing you can visit. Due to limited time, I couldn't go in. The Marquis of Angeja owned the land where the construction of a Botanical Garden was planned to complement the natural history museum, which is also somewhat close to the area. It is thought that the architect Domenico Vandelli, who built the "Ajuda" garden, collaborated on the construction of this one as well.🌍📍

Actualmente junto a los jardines tambien esta anexado el museo de teatro que es otra cosa que puedes visitar, yo por corta disponibilidad de tiempo no pude entrar, Marquês de Angeja fue el propietario del terreno donde se proyectaria la construccion de un Jardin Botanico esto para complementar el museo de historia natural que tambien esta algo cerca de la zona, se piensa que el arquitecto Domenico Vandelli quien construido el jardin de "Ajuda" colaborara en la construccion de este tambien.🚙🏕️

En el siglo XIX un conde llamado: "De Palma" adquirio los terrenos que estaban aca junto con sus jardines y fusiono todo los que tenia haciendo un total de 11 hectareas, actualmente podemos ver los jardines antiguos y un pequeno sendero que vamos a estar realizando pasando por puentes de madera y un pequeno riachuelo.🧭⛲

The landscape is truly beautiful in autumn, because the rains paint everything green, and the leaves on the ground bring back so many memories. These are priceless images of my homeland, and with that, I can confirm the best time of year to visit, as in summer it is very hot and most of the vegetation is dry.🏕️🚩

El paisaje es realmente bonito en otono, porque las lluvias hacen que todo quede pintado de verde, ademas de las hojas en el suelo me traen mucho recuerdo, son imagenes que no tienen precio de mi tierra, y bueno con eso te confirmo cual es la mejor epoca del ano para visitarla, mientras que en verano hace mucho carlor y la mayoria de la vegetacion esta seca.🌻🌺🌹🌲🍀🌳

This is the most beautiful main part of the garden, where this artificial waterfall is located. It's so well-constructed that it looks natural; water is always flowing among the rocks, and the leaves inside make it look even more organic. Next to it is a lagoon full of lovely fish.🌺🌹

Esta es la parte principal mas bonita del jardin donde esta esta cascada artificial que en realidad esta tan bien construida que parece natural, siempre tiene agua a correr entre sus rocas y las hojas dentro hace aun que sea mas organica, al lado una laguna llena de lindos peces🌻🚩

The path is suitable for everyone, just be careful on the wooden bridges as they are quite slippery. It is practically a tour through all the palace gardens and includes an area of ​​planting and vegetables.🌹🌳

El sendero es apto para cualquier persona, solo ten cuidado en los puentes de madera que es bastante resbaladizo, practicamente es un recorrido por todos los jardines del palacio e incluye un area de siembra y hortalizas.🍀🌲
