Hello fellow adventurers! Today we'll be hiking an approximately 8km trail along the Arrabida coast, starting from Creiro beach. This is my first time in this area, and I have high expectations because the trail is quite challenging, and we'll even be doing some climbing. There aren't many hikes like this. Can you imagine a vacation in Setúbal where you can even snorkel on aparadise beach like the one you're about to see? Wow...⛵🚩

It's a relatively easy trail if we consider that there's a place to park the vehicle, which is a place where you can return to the starting point by road without having to climb again. It's not recommended for inexperienced people because there's a fairly high risk of twisting your leg.🧭🏔️
Es un sendero relativamente facil si lo vemos en el sentido que tiene lugar para estacionar el vehiculo, que es un sitio donde para retornar al punto de inicio lo podemos hacer por la carretera sin necesidad de escalar de nuevo, no es recomendable para personas sin experencia porque hay un riesgo de doblarte una pierna bastante elevado.🏕️🌅
Roman Ruins🌍🏞️/ Ruinas Romanas📍🧭
Isn't it spectacular to be able to hike a trail and learn about an ancient Roman citadel? Well, one of my favorite parts of the trail is being able to start from here at the Roman ruins of "de Creiro". This area was used to salt fish from the 2nd to the 4th century AD. From here the fish were prepared and then entered an extensive trade route from Lusitania to Baetica. It's many kilometers from Portugal to that city which would now be Cadiz in the south.🏔️🧭
No es espectacular poder hacer un sendero y aprender de una antigua ciudadela Romana? pues, una de mis partes favoritas del sendero es poder partir de aqui de las ruinas romanas "de creiro" esta zona fue utilizada para salar peces desde el siglo II hasta el IV despues de Cristo, desde aqui se preparaban los pescados y luego entraban en una ruta comercial extensa desde Lusitania hasta Baetica son muchisimos kilometros desde Portugal hasta esa ciudad que seria actualmente Cadiz en el sur.🚩🗺️
Another interesting aspect of this Roman ruin is that it not only had structures for salting fish, but also, at some point during the Roman occupation, hot and cold water baths were added for the Romans to relax and socialize.🧭🏔️
otro de los aspectos interesantes de esta ruina romana es que no solo tenia estructuras para salar los pescados si no tambien se le anadio en algun momento de la ocupacion Romana termas de agua caliente y fria para los Romanos relajarse e socializar.🌅🏕️

It's a very interesting hike in terms of history and scenery. You'll learn a bit about Portuguese culture and enjoy beautiful beaches and unique landscapes in an area that's part of a nature reserve, plus you'll get some physical and mental exercise! You'll get a good dose of relaxation while walking along the Atlantic. It's not suitable for people with little hiking experience, but you can do it and stop at the section where you have to climb.🏔️⛵
es una caminata bastante interesante en el tema historico y paisajistico, vas aprender un poco de la cultura de Portugal y disfrutar de hermosas playas y paisajes unicos de un area que forma parte de una reserva natural, ademas del ejercicio fisico y mental! recibiras una buena dosis de relajacion mientras vas caminando al lado del atlantico, no es apto para personas con poca experiencia en senderismo pero puedes realizarlo y detenerte en la parte donde tendras que escalar.🧭👩🏻🦯👨🏻🦯

We started walking and the landscape already dazzled us with some mountains. You won't believe the number of trails there are throughout this area, and I think we've already completed them all except this one. However, this one isn't official and has no signs, so you have to be careful. Supposedly, this way you reach hidden beaches.🧭🚩
Comenzamos a caminar y ya el paisaje nos deslumbras con algunas montanas, no creeras la cantidad de senderos que hay por toda esta zona, y creo que ya los completamos todos menos este, sin embargo este no es oficial no tiene senales por eso tienes que ir con cuidado, supuestamente por aca llegas a playas escondidas.🌄🌻

As I mentioned earlier, this is the part of the trail where we have to climb the mountain, and therefore the most dangerous. I highly recommend taking a very detailed description because the rocks are slippery, and if it's raining, I don't recommend the trail.🚩🌄
Lo comentaba ahora esta es la parte del sendero donde tenemos que subir la montana y por ello la mas peligrosa, te recomiendo mucha descripcion porque las rocas estan resbalosas y si esta lloviendo no te recomiendo el sendero.🧭👩🏻🦯
