Snowpea surprise trip to somewhere

Hey everyone, it's your girl Snowpea here! It's been a long time since LUT has taken me on a trip, she said she has a surprise for me and it's somewhere icy cold. Yeah!! I love LUT, she knows me so well, I love the cold, that's where I belong.

Starting my journey

We started our journey catching a train to the airport. Trains are nice, plenty to see and lots of space for me to run around, not that I need a lot because I'm so little

LUT said we have a very early morning flight the next day and would stay at an airport hotel first. I could see the planes from our hotel room and the planes taking off. I'm so excited, I wonder where we're going...

The next morning we had to get up very early morning for our flight, so early I could see the sunrise. It's so pretty , just like me 🤭

We boarded our plane and LUT even got me my own seat. It's so big, loads of space for me to play during our three by hour flight to I don't know where.

We've arrived!!

Three hours later....we arrive at our destination and I can see a plane on the tarmac. I can't believe it!!! Have we come to Iceland??!!! Yes!!! We're in my zone!

We're in Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland. This is my first trip here and LUT took me out sightseeing. We walked to a square, I think it was the Parliament Square, and found a bench with a very pretty flower arch.

Then we went to the most famous landmark in town, the Hallgrímskirkja Church (such a long word with so many letters for a little doll like me to spell 😩)

This flashy bling bling building by the waterfront is the Harpa concert hall. The outside has many pieces of glass and they reflect under the sun and sea water as you walk around. It was fun running around playing hide and seek with the reflection.

Next day

The next morning LUT said we will leave in the afternoon.
"No!!!" I screamed. "I'm enjoying myself so much in Reykjavik, I don't want to go home yet."
"Don't worry baby Snowpea, we're not going home yet, I've got another surprise for you" LUT said. "We're going on a cruise!"

Holly molly dolly Snowpea! I can't believe it, a cruise??? Pleaeeeese, can we go NOW 😊

The dangers of life on a cruise ship

The cruise ship is ginormous! I always worried I might get lost or LUT might forget about me and walk off leaving me behind. That would be a disaster. Just the other day, I was standing around minding my own business when a lady tried to take me away!! 😬Apparently many cruisers leave little gifts around for people to find, like rubber duckies, keyrings, small dolls. The lady thought I was one of them and wanted to take me away 😤😡 Yes, I know I'm cute, and everyone loves me, but I belong to LUT, and no one can take me away!!! Luckily, LUT quickly came to my rescue ❤️

Other than this little incident, life on board a cruise ship is very blissful. We've cruised by some amazing places, including some glaciers. I feel so at home here. I wonder if this is where I came from...

Sometimes we get to go on land and visit different countries but I don't where we've been. LUT is very good and carries me around otherwise it's too much walking for my little legs. Talk of luxury holidays 😚

And sometimes we just stay inside chilling out. We listened to this guitarist playing and his music is really good. LUT said she's gonna write about him later on.

In the meanwhile, I'm going to continue with my journey, I can't wait to see where LUT will take me next. Bye-bye
