Of the five special topics introduced this week, I choose Share your hobby, the thing you do for enjoyment, as the second. When we were children, we had many hobbies. They were like raising pets, collecting stamps, coins or postcards. But as we grow older and reach adulthood, childhood hobbies start to change. Many people prefer hobbies like camping and traveling to beautiful places during their youth. Although I like fun activities like traveling, I have to prepare for it by taking a vacation and setting aside a budget in advance. Therefore, I can introduce gardening as a fun hobby that can be done from home by allocating extra time.

When starting a garden, the soil should be prepared well. Then, after planting the seeds or plants, the plants should be protected with great care and the harvest should be obtained because they are damaged by insects. If that happens, even the entire crop can be destroyed. In fact, I am more interested in gardening because my heart also gets excited with the growth of the plants. Currently, my eldest daughter also joins me in the cultivation activities, she joined me to give her an understanding about it. Gardening can also be a help to her in the future.

We can gain extra energy when gardening. Nowadays, many types of vegetables purchased from the market are used in chemical fertilizers, which are highly toxic and therefore not very suitable for consumption. Vegetables that contain a lot of nutrients are destroyed due to the use of these chemical fertilizers. Also, since they are in the market for several days, they are not fresh. Under such circumstances, it is wise to grow vegetables in a garden and consume them. In this way, vegetables can be consumed fresh and healthily.

On the other hand, gardening also saves money. On a monthly basis, it is a big savings. Therefore, that money can be used for additional activities. Gardening is a really fun activity because you can do it freely. It is a great advantage to be able to do it yourself, rather than working under someone else.

The younger generation is not very interested in gardening because it requires a lot of work. But they do not look at the results that will be achieved later. I have seen several videos of a young woman farming in the village of Galnewa in our country going viral on social media. It is a great example of the fact that if there is a real desire, nothing is impossible. If a woman is engaged in farming, there is plenty of opportunity for young men to dedicate themselves to it.

I prefer it because it does not require the time previously used for cultivation, and because it can be done independently and because of other advantages. If this is done as a hobby, it is not difficult to get a good harvest with some dedication.
