Greetings to all good people who sometimes like to knock on the door of the past of their childhood, where some inseparable parts of it remain in their hearts. That's how I found an album with interesting pictures this weekend after lunch, and the memories started to come out on their own and be transferred to paper, that is, the screen.
My childhood was marked by a series of turbulences in the country of Serbia, which have always been there. I was born in 1983 in the city of Vršac, where I still live and work today and where my children are now growing up. It sounds ideal, doesn't it? But it was never ideal, especially in Serbia where there are always some problems, wars, diseases or disagreements, the entire Balkans is unfortunately known for that. In 1991, after the collapse of the SFRY of Yugoslavia, which consisted of 6 republics, a new Balkan war broke out in which, unfortunately, Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia and NATO were participants, which of course also affected inflation and the standard of living of all of us who, until noon that day, could buy half a loaf of bread for our full salary, and had to convert dinars into German marks of the time and sell gasoline on the streets in order to survive.
But let's move on to brighter topics. Both before and after that period
in the old Yugoslavia, in my opinion, it was the best ever to live here, so I first singled out some favorite pictures from my childhood from that period

By the way, these two 40-year-old picture albums are the handiwork of my father, who at that time worked in a city printing house
Somehow, those were carefree days, my father, mother and kindergarten took care of me while I was growing up, and sometimes my grandmother and grandfather's aunt intervened, unfortunately I didn't have it.

Those 10 years of living near the Vrsac lake flew by quickly, yet close to school and town as a tenant, but I still had everything and a roof over my head. this picture with a basket and eggs for Easter in my favorite garden is a unique moment that I saved to show my son now.

Also, the old picture of the street with my late aunt and uncle and the dogs is especially dear because they were inimitable people in their kindness and perhaps misunderstood nowadays

Back then, we went to the sea every year, and I had a good time and enjoyed myself, again with balls and horseback riding and fighting the waves, despite the fact that we were building a house on the hill at the other end of town for a record 10 years.

My new home where I carelessly played on the foundations and hung with my friend on the cherry tree.

Elementary school passed quickly, and at the beginning of high school, a new chapter of life begins.
This is how we used to hang out with school friends and go out into nature, I think that in this period of our lives we were too burdened with Tolkien and Lord of the Rings.

In 1998, we finally moved from a rented apartment to an unfinished house, and then there was a bombardment with uranium missiles from the air, but God wanted my house to remain intact.
Come on, let's talk about beautiful things again. We knew how to enjoy simplicity - in a beautiful garden full of flowers, fruits and vegetables and a dining set, and that without a facade on the house, but there was never a lack of a table and dear people.

It came quickly, it's time for studies in the new school, from where I have many, many beautiful memories in the space of 10 years, which I can't fit in this blog.
and then I managed to go to the sea with my aunt only once. It was perfect, the picture says it all.

The studies were expensive and we worked on construction only my father and I to pay back the loan to the bank. This is still a dear picture of the neighbor's free concreting of 2 lanes of the road of our small narrow street on the hill before the asphalt came.

After my studies, I started working in a secondary chemical school and then in a special school with children with special needs for almost 8 years. And that's when I met my current wife while shopping one day in the Chinese boutique where she worked.
And those pictures are not in these albums, but they are in digital form, and right now they are the most in my heart, and we will talk about that at another time.
I came to the conclusion of one thing: If you carefully read the blog and looked at the pictures, you will notice that there are always some balls around me. Coincidence? wherever and whenever I was, somehow they kept finding me, probably fate decided that they would become part of my life calling.
And now I sit in front of my finished house and look at the two of them and think about it. Then and now.

I hope you found this little piece of the biographical timeline interesting.
Until the next opportunity, turn your time machines too, open the dusty boxes with pictures and take some time for yourself where you will be left to beautiful events from the past, because a person sometimes needs to look behind himself in order to know where to go next in life...
