Weekend in Cowboy town, Indian village and Traditional Serbian village in Serbia - El Paso

Hello everyone. I spent this weekend with my family and friends in El Paso. But not in Texas, but in my country. Located 14 km from Zlatibor is this wonderful tourist attraction in the style of the Wild West.It took us 3 hours to get there. You can buy tickets here, but we booked an overnight stay and didn't pay the entrance fee.Immediately upon arrival, we set out to explore. Everything was in one place. A real small town from the West. Just like we saw in Western movies as kids. Main street, the Town Hall (Saloon), caravans along the river, an Indian village, tree houses,a jail and a sheriff's office, a post office, a bank. The women were delighted, they went horseback riding.We stopped at the saloon and drank a mug of beer at a wooden bar. We headed toward the caravan and the carriages and the Indian village.There we got information about where we could spend the night. We could sleep in caravans named after Western movie stars John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and many others and they were for two people.The Indian tents could accommodate 4 people. Some of my friends chose that option, so we had the chance to peek inside. There were 6 tents, you could also stay overnight in a hotel, that was interesting to me. And the other option was to sleep in tree houses, haha, I wake up at night anyway, I wouldn't.














We spent the day here in the Wild West. A few steps from there we crossed the bridge and the river and entered a traditional Serbian village from the 19th century. My wife and I and a few friends decided to spend the night here and we were hungry, and they prepare great food here.There were beautiful log cabins in this part. And they, like caravans, had names. Since this is the Serbian part, each log cabin was named after a famous Serb. We slept in the house of the famous poet Desanka Maksimović. The food was superb.We ate homemade bread, kajmak prosciutto and fish from a nearby lake. The log cabin was beautiful, nicely decorated and you can book for the whole family.On Sunday we got up, went to breakfast and walked among the beautiful houses and nearby churches. In the afternoon we went to the nearby pastures to see nature and the horses that were for rent. In the afternoon we rested with the TV in the cabin and talked about our impressions. In the evening we left El Paso delighted with what we had experienced.
