Hello everyone. I wrote earlier that once a year I travel to Italy, to Tuscany, with my brother. My niece lives in Florence and we visit her because we miss her. And then the two of us love to travel and admire beautiful Tuscany. This weekend we decided to spend it at Agriturismo Diacheroni.Agriturismo Diacceroni is an organic farm located on the hills between Volterra and Pecholi.Rows of cypress trees, old olive groves, and seemingly endless golden hills alternated.
When we arrived, we could smell the scent of rosemary and, since the property is on a hill, we had a beautiful panoramic view. We were greeted by the friendly hosts, the owners of the property.

We settled in the room and went down to have lunch. The food was extra, prepared exclusively from organic ingredients grown on the farm itself. We tried traditional Tuscan pasta pizza with cooked sauces, homemade cheeses and freshly baked bread. After lunch, we settled down by the salt water pool with a glass of their homemade wine. After 2 hours of enjoyment, we went to the equestrian center, which is part of the household. There were 10 tourists with children riding horses. We still decided to walk through the fields and see everything up close.

When we returned, a surprise awaited us. The guests prepare their own dinner. Haha, the local cooks taught us how to make homemade pasta from all-purpose flour and water. On Sunday we decided to take a trip to the famous historic gardens of Villa La Foce.We arrived after an hour and a half drive. Hey guys, this is a masterpiece. We walked along paths lined with perfectly trimmed boxwood hedges. There were high walls and many hidden statues, and I was most impressed by the labyrinth. We stopped by a beautiful fountain where a sculpture of a wild boar hunt stands surrounded by tall cypress trees.

We returned to the property and started packing for the return trip. The hosts filled our trunk. They packed several bottles of their organic wine, jars of homemade honey and bottles of olive oil. We leave for Voltera with a full heart.
