absolutely fantastic film from start to finish. They made me get emotional over a silly spider rock thingy creature. That's powerful cinema.

yeah, it wasnt about the space mission more about the bond with Rocky, I honestly though he was dead when he said was going to sleep, the ending was a bit glue together I think even testing the audience if ppl want more of Rocky, awesome movie
personally I hope there isn't a sequel. There is no source material. IN the book there are a few differences such as Gosling's character being badly effected by the gravity on Rocky's planet and it has aged him dramatically but the bit about him being a teacher and a very honored member of society is perfectly exhibited at the end. Rocky was more whimsical in the movie than in the book, but that was a welcome adjustment. I normally don't think book to movie adaptations do the book much justice, but this one was about as close to perfect as I have ever seen.
