Greetings, friends
I completely forgot that today is Friday. I only remembered it now, towards the end of the day. Our Friday is related to mushrooms. The mushroom season is already over. Yesterday, my coworker and I discussed his weekend plans. He said he wanted to go into the woods and look for mushrooms. This is an interesting idea. Last week was abnormally warm for our region for this time of the year. The thermometer showed +20 degrees Celsius. It's a joy, but... This is bad for our trees and bushes in the garden; they think that spring has come and are beginning to bloom.

The necessary conditions are required for the growth of mushrooms, especially with regard to humidity and temperature, especially the temperature of the soil, if we are talking about mushrooms that grow from the ground, because in our case they are usually the only edible ones.
Tomorrow morning I will go for a walk with my dog in the forest and try to find these last autumn mushrooms. But today I'm showing you a mushroom from my summer collection.

It looked like just another russula - plain and unassuming. But something about it hooked my attention, and I can’t quite put my finger on why. Anyone got a theory?
I found myself staring at the stem. Usually, with these mushrooms, it’s pure white, clean and crisp. This one was different: the stem matched the cap, like the whole thing had been dipped in the same shade of red. It made the fungus feel… intentional, somehow.
We never take these home. They’re too brittle - one wrong move and they crumble to pieces. We usually go for the ones with blue caps; those hold up better in the basket. But out here in my woods, it’s all red russulas as far as the eye can see. Just these delicate, stubborn little things, standing their ground among the fallen leaves.
I also have a number of mushrooms in my collection, the name of which I do not even know. There will be more Fridays ahead and I will show them.
No! We don't eat that. Not a single mushroom was damaged during the shooting.

Wow it looks like it's from a fantasy land! I have never seen mushroom in such vibrant red hues unless it's a painting.
The world is beautiful and amazing, it is huge and there are many things unknown to us.
Oh I agree!
