What a journey!
I love a good hike but when you add the historic purpose of retracing the steps of those children, it is next level.
Makes me think about how hard people think they have it now. Imagine sending your 10-year-old off on a 100km+ journey to go find manual labour. Not to mention that a journey of that many days in April and November would not have been warm sunny days. Wild.
Thanks for taking us with you on such an extraordinary walk!

Hiking is usually nice. Making you feel close to nature. But this hike is different. We could easily imagine the hardship of these young children. We have been walking exactly where they have been walking...what facinates me,is the historical part. We have a few more stretches, but plan to finish this year🙂
