Maigualida Beach is charming; I loved visiting it during school vacation, as the festive atmosphere was perfect for having a good time and taking in the excitement of the children playing there, which made me enjoy my stay here for several hours.

However, I was very surprised by how the scene changed in the middle of the afternoon. In the morning, the water was calm and crystal-clear; plus, there werenât that many touristsâthe beach was quiet and peaceful. After noon, the atmosphere began to change; the beach filled with people, and the water turned dark and choppy.
I was really struck by how the water changedâit was no longer the paradise Iâd seen that morning, and the sky even grew dark, with rain clearly on the horizon. Before, I could see right through the crystal-clear water, but then it became murky and filled with algae; the waves also grew violent, as if the sea wanted to drive the swimmers awayâit was a little scary. Thatâs when I realized just how powerful it is and how quickly it can shift from one state to another.

The sky, with its black clouds, warned that a downpour could break out at any momentâthankfully, Iâd managed to enjoy myself quite a bit while the sky was bright and blue. As for me, I started packing up to head back, but other beachgoersâmostly young peopleâcontinued to enjoy the beach, unconcerned by the storm.
After all, we have to cherish every moment, and as Ricardo Arjona would say: âEither learn to love the thorn, or donât accept roses.â Thatâs why we have to make the most of the beach in all its phases and live each scene that nature offers us to the fullest. Itâs not the first time the rain has caught me by surprise at the beach, but years of experience have taught me that heading back in the middle of a downpour puts you at risk of catching a coldâor something even worse.

The beach scenario was indeed beautiful and relaxing. I wish I could be there too. In case of the weather, it's indeed unpredictable in recent days. It would be better if you could stay there till the sunset time.
It would be spectacularâthe sunrises and sunsets are incredible. Thanks for the support. Best regards.
