Second in the country is huge, congrats to your son, that two-day drive was clearly worth it. Milly's sounds like the real hero of the trip though, a restaurant on stilts over a trout farm and that lemon meringue pie recommendation is going straight into my notes. Did the rain ever let up enough for a proper climb at the end?

Hi! Yes the rain eventually stopped on our 3rd day and he managed to spend the next 3 days on his project route at the God No! crag. It was a pity that we lost half our week to weather, but it has definitely inspired us to go back next year. It's worth the journey.
Ha, losing half the week to rain and still calling it worth the journey says a lot. Glad he got three solid days on the God No! route in the end. Are you already planning the return trip for next year, or just dreaming about it for now?
