Hey, hey! This is @gabrielatravels, and I am excited to bring you a brand new edition of #TravelDigest! ❤️
Today's post is going to take you on a virtual tour with stops at a coast in Australia, a museum in Argentina, and a house in Venezuela. We also have the honourable mentions, where you can get a few more travel postcards from Spain, Germany, Portugal, Venezuela, Nepal, Philippines, and USA, so don't forget to check these posts too! 😊
Places like this, it's hard not to remember the 'old days'. THough the tide was low today I could remember surfing out there as the tide was coming in and getting smashed against the rocks. And there's photos of me when I'm four years old running round in the nude and the family leaning up against that big rock in the middle for a photo. I rememember finding crabs in the rockpools.

What is interesting about this "museum": is that we are just a few months away from celebrating its first centenary, and since opening its doors, it has collaborated with many academic institutions; given that this "historical" museum holds a valuable historical heritage of great interest to the province's historians. These valuable objects can be viewed in its seven "rooms": which are arranged chronologically.

In that same space, there was also a photography gallery where the presence of Cesar Figueroa, a musical instrument maker, stands out, alongside several images of indigenous people from Delta Amacuro and a mosaic featuring the faces of Maria Rodríguez and Luis Hurtado, 'The Devil of Cumana,' in the foreground. This space dedicated to local cultural practitioners has its own charm, even more so when live events are held and you can enjoy performances by local musicians, virtuosos of the cuatro, the bandolina, and the galeron.
