Another legend says that Turin was founded after Phaethon, the son of the Sun God, fell here with his chariot. However, there is only one thing we know for certain. the city was founded in the third century bce by the Taurini tribes living in the vicinity, which is where the name Turin comes from. The Romans changed the name of this place to Colonia Julia Augusta Taurinorum and even an ancient Roman theater has survived from that period to the present day. This structure is even older than the Colosseum, although it has not been preserved as well. The best preserved ancient Roman gates in Italy have also managed to survive to the present day.

According to a legend believed by the Ancient Greeks, Termessos was founded not by humans, but by legendary warriors born from the union of the Earth and the Stars. They were wild and fond of their freedom. Alexander the Great tried to capture the city and his army saw a dog of fire in the sky, which was a sign that Termessos was inviolable. No invader has dared to attack this city since then.

This grotto is crafted from various types of limestone. At the top, we can see an image of the Virgin Mary with her hands clasped in prayer. To the right is another sculpture, Saint Bernadette, who is kneeling. In a lower niche, there is a table covered with a vase containing red and white flowers. Another detail is that plaques expressing gratitude for favors granted can be seen on the walls.
