Hello everyone, Worldmappin friends! I'm @lauramica, and today I'm sharing our Thursday Travel Digest. Come and see the amazing places we'll be visiting today! ❤️
In today's post, we'll take a stroll through Navigone, Lyon, France, cruise along the Seine River in Paris, and visit a beautiful basilica in Cumaná, Venezuela. We'll also visit other places around the world, like the Philippines, Turkey, Cuba, and Argentina—a little bit of everything!
Thank you all for sharing your travels on the Worldmappin map! Have a wonderful day! 😃❤️
Here's a look back at our trip on the Navigône, a river shuttle that's part of Lyon's public transport system. Initially, we wanted to go to Confluence, where the Rhône and Saône rivers meet south of Lyon. But during the week, the boats only go north, to Vaisse Industrie. No problem, the weather's lovely and enjoying the cool breeze on the water is refreshing.

Continuing our cruise along the Seine River, we began to discover why seeing Paris from the water is such a special experience.
From the boat, the city feels like a moving museum. Bridges, palaces, monuments, and centuries of architecture appear one after another while we simply sit back and enjoy the journey. The cloudy sky followed us throughout the cruise, but somehow it gave Paris an even more characteristic atmosphere.

In this third and final part of my work on this central and highly significant area of the city of Cumaná (Sucre State, Venezuela), I will focus on two important monuments, although I will make brief references to other sites.
Opposite the last stop on our route, which was the Casa Ramos Sucre, we find a beautiful house, purchased or taken over by the government (national and state), which supposedly functions as an art gallery. Although I am not a supporter of the establishment, I took some photos of a space that is quite attractive.
