Hey, hey! This is @gabrielatravels, and I am pleased to bring you a brand new edition of #TravelDigest! ❤️

Today's post is going to take you on a virtual tour with stops at a historic site in Cuba, a park in Portugal, and a walk in Croatia. And as the commemorative plaque states, on November 29, 2000, during the 24th Session of the World Heritage Committee held in Cairns, Australia, this place was inscribed on the World Heritage List. It became part of the Archaeological Landscape of the First Coffee Plantations in the Southeast of Cuba, under the Cultural Site category — a designation that includes 171 ruins located between the provinces of Santiago de Cuba and Guantánamo.

🥈 Penafiel - Parque da Cidade / Riding Portugal by @onyfest

The atmosphere that day was calmer. There were people scattered everywhere, but without any commotion. Families sat on the grass, children ran among the trees, couples strolled slowly along the dirt paths. A boy played ball alone on one of the larger lawns while his parents watched from a distance, almost without speaking.

🥉 Please don't feed the mermaids at Rovinji, Croatia by @livinguktaiwan

Despite Rovinji being busier than Pula, it wasn't too crowded with people, and didn't feel as desolate as Pula. I felt the old town was nice for a walkabout, and had some interesting buildings, including one that looked like it was wearing two halves of a giant t-shirt.
