🥇 Ice Kayaking at Meares Glacier, Alaska by @dtam

Once we finally had enough of working hard in the ice, we found a pocket of clear water, and just sat and soaked in the amazing views. Its times like this that it is so hard to believe that we have this place all to ourselves. That is Alaska, still true wilderness to be explored. That can be hard to find these days. When we made it back to the boat, it was hot beverages for all, and a change into bathing suits.... for the polar plunge was next!

🥈 Hidden Trails & Shallot Harvesting Adventure in Mount Wilis by @macchiata

Somewhere along the winding path, The son of the family started telling me that there was a famous coffee plantation and factory in the area. He pointed to the remnants of the factory as well as some abandoned villa all around these foothills of Mt. Wilis. One thing that came out of my mouth was " How did they even know this place existed?", considering it was ages ago and even today this place is still considered remote.

🥉 Visit to the Vidotto museum - Italy by @davideownzall

The largest part of the museum is the uniforms section, it is really well done, there are uniforms from various periods and nations, from WW1 up to more recent times, some complete with equipment. Some were real armored suits and it makes you think about how heavy all that stuff must have been to wear, especially in certain conditions; or the uniforms of the Italian soldiers in Russia during the Second World War, although winter uniforms they were clearly unsuitable for a Russian winter.
