🥇 Part 4/5 – Two Days in Diyarbakır (Amed): Two Churches, Two Different Atmospheres (St. George & Mar Petyun) by @oneplanet

One of the things I liked the most about this church was simplicity and emptiness. It wasn't very crowded. It even made some places feel "not used much", but it was still nice that it was open. People walk more slowly in such places. You stand in one corner and look up, go to another corner and examine the stonework. That rhythm of the dome and belts is very impressive. We already know what kind of character the stone architecture in Diyarbakır is; it was a pleasure to see that character from the inside in this church.

🥈 Quintandona Rural Village V1 / Riding Portugal by @onyfest

The arrival is discreet. There is a small headquarters set up to receive visitors, simple, tidy, with that air of someone who wants to welcome and warm the soul. Inside, they sell small souvenirs, jams, handicrafts, typical regional items. Things that don't seem mass-produced, but made with time. And it shows.

🥉 ⛪️ VISITING THE PENINHA SANCTUARY IN SINTRA.⛪️ (ENG-ESP) by @quiubi

To get to the Sanctuary, I started my tourist route in Alcabideche, Sintra. I recommend starting here because, apparently, from this town you can visit the Chapel of the Holy Family of Alcabideche, which was recently restored last year and is very beautiful. It was built in 1954 commissioned by João de Sousa Araújo, who was a well-known artist in his time because he was not only an architect but also a professional ceramic painter, a very popular art form in the country.
