What meets the eye today is, in fact, the world’s grandest jigsaw puzzle. Archaeologists hunt for shards of the original pillars to reassemble them. The old marble has changed color with time, making the patches of new marble shine a blinding white. The beaten earth of the past is covered now, even by concrete in places. Hundreds of statues of gods and deities have turned to dust. Yet, does any of this rob the Acropolis of its majesty?

In this area I managed to find many visitors who came with their families, here there are lots of cottages with a size large enough to accommodate up to 6 visitors. Maybe the main area is very suitable to visit with a partner because it has a romantic atmosphere, and the right end area is very suitable to visit with friends, and the left end area is very suitable to visit with family, my thoughts at that time 😅.

In the Jimaguayu Hall, the original plaster models used by the Italian sculptor Angelo Zanelli to create the Statue of the Republic are on display, along with the two external sculptures on either side of the grand staircase and the reliefs above the entrance doors.
