We visited during our trip the famous Old Church Ruins found in the municipality of Catarman. The place is one of the historical attractions in Camiguin and serves as a reminder of the volcanic eruption that happened on the island many years ago. The old ruins, covered with aged stones and surrounded by huge trees, created a peaceful yet slightly melancholic atmosphere that made the destination very unique. In front of the ruins stands a large cross that became one of the most photographed spots in the area. While exploring the place, I could really feel the historical significance of the destination and imagine the story behind the remains of the old church. It was simple yet meaningful because it allowed visitors to appreciate not only the beauty of Camiguin but also its history.

In this island, there were many historical attractions, Camiguin is also known for its beautiful beaches that offer a relaxing escape for tourists. During our island trip, we visited some beaches where we enjoyed the fresh sea breeze, clear waters, and peaceful surroundings. What I loved the most about the beaches in Camiguin is their calm and uncrowded atmosphere compared to other tourist destinations. The sound of the waves, the cool air, and the scenic coastal views created such a relaxing experience for our family. Some beaches also offer stunning views of the mountains and volcanic landscape of the island, making the scenery even more breathtaking. Walking along the shore while appreciating the beauty of nature truly became one of the highlights of our trip.

One thing I also appreciated during our stay in Camiguin was the cleanliness and peacefulness of the island. The roads were clean, the tourist spots were well-maintained, and the locals were very welcoming to visitors. The island may be small, but it offers many beautiful attractions that allow tourists to relax and enjoy nature away from crowded cities. Everywhere we went, the atmosphere felt refreshing and calm which made the whole travel experience even more memorable. Camiguin is truly one of those destinations where simplicity becomes the reason why the place feels so beautiful and unforgettable.

Camiguin is truly special. Not only its tourist spots but also the peaceful memories it gives to every traveler who visits the island. From church ruins to relaxing beaches, every destination we visited created another beautiful memory during our trip. Until now, I still remember the refreshing breeze, scenic views, and happy moments we shared while exploring the island. Thank you once again, dearest readers, for joining me in another travel story. See you again in my future travels!

Now I know Camiguin . It is the small island in between Bohol and Mindanao but it is closer to Mindanao . Very small island , maybe quiet and peaceful with a nice hospitality of people living in the island .
Back in 2019, before the Pandemic, I and my friends had a spontaneous trip to Katigbawasan Falls, I regret not going to Mambajao, I will def visit that place soon, thanks for sharing some useful information π
