We rested until 4 in the afternoon and prepared ourselves to travel to a hidden beach in their barangay. We took his dog, Zuki, with us and had a good conversation while the sea breeze hit our faces. When we arrived at the boulevard where a corner leads us to the beach, we saw this path bordered by green and tall trees, and I could hear a shipping vessel approaching this part of the island.

Once we stepped foot on the beach, we went above a rock formation to see the view from above, knowing it was the perfect sunset hour, making the sea more golden rather than blue and turquoise. We planned to swim beforehand but when we arrived, we decided not to because the water was not clear and it was so cold. We were considering me, who can't tolerate coldness since I am prone to hypothermia. It was really a perfect seaside chance to swim around, but maybe next time we can push through our plans.

In this barangay of Punta, we went to the beach "Dawis." This is how the people there call the beach. It is a simple beach with little or few visitors. But that is what makes this beach different and perfect for a peaceful seaside escape. It has little to no visitors and, if fortunate, you can't spot a visitor here aside from you. The beauty of this beach happens in the quiet. Just silence filling the cottages and karaoke corners, and the rolling waves that hit the stone formation perfectly like a water painting.

The sunset was perfect. It righteously hit you in the face. It was golden and alive and all of us enjoyed the view. Although the breeze was cold, the warmth of the sunset gives a balanced experience of this beach's temperature. As someone who hates cold, I appreciated the warmth brought by the sunset. Seldom do I find myself witnessing this kind of sunset. It is so perfect and stunning, especially because I'm with my favorite man and dog.

This one is an abandoned resort we call "Warren," but it is ruined and unmaintained already. It lost its tourism quality and popularity. Before, it was a good resort, almost flocked with international tourists, but ever since the resort lost its financial capability, they gradually lost the beauty of the resort as well as the interest of many visitors, some of which were international.

Places like Dawis remind me that some of the most beautiful travel experiences are found in quiet and overlooked corners. It may not be a famous destination anymore, but the golden sunset, the peaceful shore, and the calm atmosphere make it a place worth visiting, especially for those who are simply looking for a slow and meaningful seaside escape.

Although it is not as beautiful as some of the other beaches, it is still enough to help you relax and recharge after a week of constantly facing stress at work. We all need a break and a moment of relaxation to refresh our minds and regain our energy.
Indeed. This might be not the most beautiful beach or most popular one but just like any other elegant beaches, Dawis gave us a moment to relax and feel safe in our body again by calming it. It is also an advantage to know it has few to no visitors, which means you can relax there silently and peacefully.
