Happy Sunday, fellow travelers from around the world! It's a pleasure to share a new tour of the El Monumento area. This monument is located on the Cacique Maraguey perimeter avenue along the Cumaná coastal strip. This space features recreational areas, exercise equipment, and a beautiful oceanfront viewpoint. It stretches for several kilometers and boasts beautiful scenery, walkways, benches, and a mural of giant letters spelling out "I Love Cumaná."

Along the way, you'll see posts, rocks along the beach, and a path of blue walls distributed along this walkway. I began my walk in the Los Mangles sector and continued to the "I Love Cumaná" monument, which is an aerobic promenade with a concrete surface and excellent ocean views. Surrounding it are trees, including mangroves, and a beautiful view of the seascape. This place is popular in the morning, afternoon, and evening, where many families take advantage of the opportunity to exercise and for children to have some fun and recreation.

In the center is a mural of giant letters: white, with a red heart, and the word "Cumaná" spelled out in various shades of blue in a wave-like pattern. Behind this mural, you can see the beach and part of the Araya Peninsula.

The floor is painted with stripes of yellow, blue, red, and beige. There is also a gray wall with a plaque describing the monument's features. Next, you can see the lampposts; they have a rather curious triangular shape, and on either side are LED lights. The blue wall at the edge is a lookout point, formed by a thick wall and several interspersed columns. This also serves as a bench for those who enjoy watching the seascape.

Continuing, we have a view of the walls or benches located on the beach edge, very close to the rocky path. Also, the concrete walkways that lead to the center of the monument. In general, the recreational area is distributed in this space, and the monument of letters, the exercise machines, and a space for children to ride bicycles converge here. Then we have another view of the Yohana Cumaná mural. The colors are visible on the floor. It has three oval-shaped steps and a beautiful view of the sea and the clouds in the background.

Moving forward, we see the pedestal where the plaque was located, the colorful stripes on the ground, and then a view of the beach, the rock walkway, and in the background, the monuments located along this stretch of the coastal strip. We also see a view from the mangrove area, where we can appreciate the beach, the walkway, and the lampposts that illuminate this part of the city.

Finally, a partial view of the perimeter avenue, the residential complexes, and the curious lampposts located on the walking path. Their shape is indeed curious; up close, they resemble the figure of a man exercising. I've always wondered why they have that shape, although I don't know the answer. I am certain, however, that they constitute an attractive element on the walking path. It's very rare to see a lamppost with this shape and three light bulbs—one at the top and the other two on each side. Visiting this area of the city is always rewarding, as it allows me to connect with nature and contemplate the beautiful seascape. It's relaxing to enjoy the cool breeze while appreciating the immensity and beauty of the sea. Thank you for joining me on this fascinating adventure.
