Los invito a acompañarme en un fascinante recorrido por el Anfiteatro Hernán Marín. Ubicado en la Avenida Cacique Maragüey, cerca de la cancha de tenis, fue inaugurado el pasado diciembre. Además de ser un espacio para actividades culturales y recreativas, entre otras, es un homenaje al músico cumano Hernán Marín, quien se destacó por sus bellas composiciones, interpretaciones y destreza con el cuatro y la mandolina. Entré por la puerta lateral y allí se encuentra un muro con hermosas pinturas: un pelícano con un pez, un hermoso barco con la inscripción "Mar de la Esperanza", aludiendo a una de las bellas canciones del cantaor. Luego hay una imagen del cantaor con su cuatro, un hermoso paisaje marino, una vista de un cañón, el Castillo de San Antonio de la Eminencia, varias flores que adornan este mural y una vista parcial del castillo, símbolo de la arquitectura colonial en la ciudad.

I invite you to join me on a fascinating tour of the Hernán Marín Amphitheater. Located on Cacique Maraguey Avenue, near the tennis court, it was inaugurated last December. Besides being a space for cultural and recreational activities, among others, it is a tribute to the Cumaná musician Hernán Marín, who stood out for his beautiful compositions, interpretations, and skills playing the cuatro and mandolin. I entered through the side door and there's a wall with beautiful paintings: a pelican with a fish, a beautiful ship with the inscription "Sea of Hope," alluding to one of the singer's beautiful songs. Then there's an image of the singer with his cuatro, a beautiful seascape, a view of a cannon, the San Antonio de la Eminencia Castle, several flowers adorning this mural, and a partial view of the castle, a symbol of colonial architecture in the city.
Below are other flowers that complement this beautiful mural. The mural reflects a blend of the city's most prominent elements, closely linked to the songs of this renowned performer.
Continuando mi recorrido desde el mural, subí por la calle lateral y allí hay una pared con fondo negro y frases de sus canciones, incluyendo Yamaray y su famosa frase "Es bueno, Yamaray es bueno". Luego, en el centro del anfiteatro, hay una placa con una foto del cantante Hernán Marín y una explicación del propósito del anfiteatro. A continuación, tenemos una vista de la parte inferior: una estrella blanca y otra gris sobre fondo azul, que indican diferentes puntos del parque. Continuing my tour from the mural, I went up the side street and there's a wall with a black background and phrases from his songs, including Yamaray and his famous line "It's good, Yamaray is good." Then, in the center of the amphitheater, there's a plaque with a photo of the singer Hernán Marín and an explanation of the amphitheater's purpose. Next, we have a view of the lower part: a white star and another gray star on a blue background, indicating different points in the park. Moving on to the upper part, there are stairs and rock and cement walls that separate the different paths leading to the amphitheater. In a more complete view of the mural, we see the shape of the cuatro (a small four-stringed guitar), the singer's name, and the phrase from his well-known song Yamaray.

Then I headed towards the entrance, which is the front door. On it is the name "Hernán Marín Amphitheater," accompanied by the image of a musical instrument in a multicolored semicircle. The identification sign is blue, and on the back is the phrase "Sucre inspires you," displayed with rectangles, squares, and triangles of various colors. From here, you can see the amphitheater's expansive space, and in the background, you see a wooden boat with the title "Sea of Hope," and behind it, a mural with the word "Venezuela."
Below the boat is a mural depicting the sea. The artist's work is truly excellent, as the white lines perfectly simulate the waves. Behind the boat, as I mentioned, there's a mural with the word "Venezuela" in white. Below it are yellow, blue, and red lights that create a beautiful contrast at night. Then, behind this mural of letters, we see a walkway leading to another area of the amphitheater, created especially for the enjoyment and recreation of adults and children alike.
