Disfrutando de un hermoso y lluvioso día en la Playa y hotel Venetur[Esp-Eng]
Hoy les comparto mi aventura en la playa San Luis, en el sector Los Bordones, y la piscina del Hotel Venezuela. Como ya les comenté en otras publicaciones, San Luis es la playa más grande de la ciudad y está dividida en varias secciones. Esta vez me detuve detrás del Hotel Venezuela, donde se encuentran las canchas de tenis. También hay cabañas, sillas y toldos para el disfrute de los visitantes. La arena es suave y hay muchas palmeras, a diferencia de otras secciones de la playa donde se ven varias plantas de uva de mar. En esta zona, abundan las palmeras y también se puede apreciar la vista de las montañas a lo largo de la carretera Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho, que lleva a Puerto La Cruz y otros pueblos del estado Sucre.
Como pueden ver en la foto, hay cabañas o toldos de palma, una cancha de tenis e iluminación. Estas canchas se usan con frecuencia por la noche o al atardecer, cuando ya se ha puesto el sol. El camino a la playa está sombreado por varias palmeras. Las llamativas cabañas y la cancha de tenis se encuentran a la orilla del mar. Detrás de ellos, más adelante hacia el hotel, se puede ver la hermosa piscina, las sillas, los toldos y los senderos que conducen a las diferentes partes del hotel. Mi visita a este lugar fue para buscar a los chicos que se hospedaban allí mientras jugaban fútbol, así que aproveché para tomar algunas fotos de la estructura y las diferentes áreas de este hotel. Tiene muchas plantas en el frente, cabañas hechas de azulejos y mucha vegetación en los terrenos. Un elemento que llamó mi atención en esta playa es la cantidad de letreros que animan a la gente a no contaminar y a mantener los espacios limpios. Están hechos de listones de madera que se mimetizan con el entorno. Hay muchos de ellos en las palmeras, desde los bordones hasta el cangrejo azul.
Today I'm sharing my adventure at San Luis beach in the Los Cordones sector and the Hotel Venezuela pool. As I've mentioned in other posts, San Luis is the city's largest beach and is divided into several sections. My stop this time was behind the Hotel Venezuela and the tennis courts located there. It also has huts, chairs, and awnings for visitors to enjoy. The sand is soft and there are many palm trees, unlike other sections of the beach where you'll see several sea grape plants. In this area, there are many palm trees, and we also have a view of the mountains along the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho highway, which leads to Puerto La Cruz and other towns in the state of Sucre.
As you can see in the photo, there are palm-thatched huts or canopies, a tennis court, and lights. These courts are regularly used at night or in the late afternoon when the sun's rays have gone down. The path to the beach is shaded by several palm trees. The striking huts and the tennis court are located on the shore. Behind them, further along towards the hotel, you can see the beautiful pool, the chairs, awnings, and walkways that lead to the different parts of the hotel. My visit to this place was to look for the boys who were staying there while they were playing soccer, so I took the opportunity to take some photos of the structure and the different areas of this hotel. It has many plants in the front, huts made with tiles, and lots of vegetation on the grounds. One element that caught my attention on this beach is the number of signs that encourage people not to pollute and to keep the spaces clean. They are made of wooden slats that blend in with the environment. There are many of them on the palm trees, from the stalks to the blue crab.
En la parte trasera del hotel, hay una pasarela de madera. Se pueden ver las palmeras, el campo deportivo, las cabañas y una hermosa vista de la playa. A diferencia de otras secciones de la playa, esta no tiene pasarela de cemento, solo arena y muchas palmeras. Al ser un lugar muy concurrido, los fines de semana se encuentran vendedores ambulantes que ofrecen gafas de sol, sombreros, comida típica local y bebidas como refrescos y agua. Al observar las instalaciones del hotel, vemos el restaurante, la piscina y una serie de pasarelas que conducen a diferentes puntos. En la entrada, me llamó la atención la escultura de una iguana. Está ubicada junto a la fuente, es verde y su diseño es realista.
La escultura de la iguana se debe a que son uno de los animales más abundantes en esta zona; de hecho, se las puede ver en diversas plantas y, a veces, paseando por los senderos y estanques. Son tranquilas y simplemente se mueven buscando el árbol más cómodo para comer y descansar.
At the back of the hotel, there's a wooden walkway. You can see the palm trees, the sports field, the huts, and a beautiful view of the beach. Unlike other sections of the beach, this one doesn't have a concrete walkway, just the sand and many palm trees. Being a very busy place, on weekends you'll find street vendors offering sunglasses, hats, typical local food, and drinks like soda and water. Looking at the hotel facilities, we see the restaurant, the pool, and the series of walkways that lead to different points. At the entrance, the sculpture of an iguana caught my eye. It's located next to the fountain, it's green, and its design is realistic.
The iguana sculpture is due to the fact that they are one of the most abundant animals in this area; in fact, they can be seen on various plants and sometimes they make a stroll along the walkways and pools. They are calm, simply moving around looking for the most comfortable tree to eat and rest.
Dando un breve paseo por la entrada del hotel, también vemos varias palmeras cocoteras con pintura blanca en sus troncos. Según un miembro del personal, esta pintura evita que los insectos y las plagas dañen las plantas.
A continuación, podemos apreciar la fuente de color ladrillo, que tiene tres círculos de concreto alrededor. Junto a ella, a la derecha, se encuentra la escultura de una iguana. Aquí vemos a la iguana mirando hacia adelante, posada sobre una base gris. El hotel cuenta con espacios que armonizan con el entorno tropical, incluyendo cabañas con palmeras y plantas como Ixoras, Bugambilias y Fiscos, que adornan los pasillos. La entrada está bordeada de palmeras y podemos ver la montaña que conduce a la carretera. En la última fotografía, vemos la iguana y la fuente. Taking a short walk around the front of the hotel, we also see several coconut palms with white paint on their trunks. According to one of the staff members, this paint prevents insects and pests from damaging the plants.
Next, we have a view of the brick-colored fountain, which has three concentric circles around it. Next to it, on the right, is the iguana sculpture. Here we see the iguana facing forward, perched on a gray base. The hotel boasts spaces in keeping with the tropical setting, including cabins with palm trees and plants like ixoras, bougainvillea, and fisco that adorn the hallways. The entrance is lined with several palm trees, and we can see the mountain leading to the highway. In the last photograph, we see the iguana and the fountain. Que lugar tan bonito, me gustaron mucho las fotos de la playa, con la arena tan blanca. parece un sitio muy tranquilo, ideal para relajarse y tomarse un tiempo de descanso.
