Myponga , South Australia.

The landscapes are great here in the Fleurieu Peninsula. And, the road trip can't be any better than that, going up and down the hill, seeing sheep and cows grazing in the greenery. Myponga is a beautiful town in South Australia, a part of the peninsula with a reservoir reserve offering hiking, sightseeing, and a natural oasis. Its outskirts offer scenic views of hills, farmlands, with sheep, cows, and kangaroos grazing around, making it even more beautiful to be around the ups and downs of the hills.

Myponga Reservoir Reserve:
Mypong Reservoir is an oasis for nature, and a place for visitors to be close to water resources for recreational activities, such as hiking, camping, and paddling around. The reservoir's natural bushland is a habitat for kangaroos.

One good spot to look out at the reservoir is from a lookout point up above. This would give a good view of the dam and the reservoir. At the top, it feels good to have the breeze follow through you. The drive goes through the dam you see in the post, quite squeezy but just fits right to pass two vehicles to pass at the same time.

Myponga Reservoir Reserve is on the other side, where you can get close to the water resources from the ground level. Around the reservoir is also a walking trail; you can swim, paddle, cycle, or go for a walk. The Myponga Reservoir Reserve is a great destination for anyone equipped with resources for recreational activities.

Oh, if not, just put your chair and watch the kangaroos hop around the bushland while you enjoy your drink. It's a great sightseeing spot for kangaroos in their natural habitat. While I stood there and looked at them, they looked back at me, too. I thought I was disturbing their peace, so I walked my way out.

Outskirts and Rolling Hills:

The outskirts of Myponga can even be viewed when you look around the reserve. While you sit there and gaze into the hills, it makes you travel around just to see what really exists around the rolling hills. So, I did. It looks one can easily roll around the hills but it's pasture land for alot of cattles from the farmland.

Now, it's really hard to find a good parking spot for your car, but if I find one around the landscapes, you could get the best landscape view possible. The water reserve in the middle for the cattle adds one more beauty to the landscape. Most of the outskirts of Myponga Reservoir Reserve are farmlands, hospitality businesses (Airbnbs), coffee shops, and restaurants. When the sun spreads its rays around the rolling hills, it magnifies the beauty of its greenery. What one can just lay a small house, and be just there for a time, frozen in tranquility, I wish I could do that for life.

A beautiful journey is sometimes to observe nature flourish on its own, and that makes you feel complete, being connected to the earth.
