ha ha i will send them over , but most people here are aware about global warming. I'm aware about the fact that we here in the Netherlands for a large part live below sea level that is why our dunes and Deltaworks https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delta_Works are so important . We have been educated about that in school since +/- 1972 , probably sooner but that was before my school time .
One of the popular story of my childhood is about the Hero of Haarlem; the boy who saved Holland. It was a story of Hans Binker, in The Silver Skates by Mary Mapes Dodge.
I think I was perhaps 10 years old when I first read this story. I knew he was a fictional character, but it felt real. I learned for the first time that most of the Holland is below sea level.
