One of the mosques I highly recommend for religious tourism. When visiting Klaten, the Al-Aqsha Mosque is the city's largest mosque, serving as an iconic place of worship for Muslims.

I often travel to Klaten with clients. Most of my clients who use my driving services are Muslim, so they often request to be taken to religious tourism destinations.

As a large mosque, we can see many beautiful corners to explore. We start from the main area before actually entering the mosque building.

There's a fountain that offers a great photography angle. The reliefs of the mosque, with its distinctive arches, can be seen framing the waterfall and the magnificent mosque.

The Al-Aqsha Mosque has distinctive Middle Eastern architecture. It creates a luxurious impression because it is an iconic mosque in Klaten. It seems to me that this is a source of pride for the Klaten residents.

After walking through the pool and fountain area, I set foot in the mosque courtyard. It was very clean, free of trash, despite the large number of visitors.

The courtyard of the mosque was tiled, making it look immaculate. The majestic pillars of the mosque were visible.
The distinctive curves on the windows gave a luxurious impression, which amazed me.
The mosque door was very large and sturdy, with typical mosque carvings. Then I entered the mosque area.

I could see the steps there.
To get to the main area of ββthe mosque, we have to climb the stairs. However, we can also take the elevator.

However, if the elevator is busy, it's best to take the stairs, only for those who are able.

Climbing the steps, I admired the interior of the mosque. It felt very warm.

Warm light, dominated by golden brown colors throughout the interior.

The pillars of the mosque looked luxurious. The combination of green and gold seemed to me to symbolize glory.

Looking up at the domes of the mosque, I was amazed!

The main dome was adorned with various small stained-glass windows displaying beautiful carvings.

The beautiful structure of the building, in my opinion, was further enhanced by the beautifully carved windows.
Then I also noticed a pool at the base of the mosque, which can also be seen from the upper floors.

The mosque also has a tall tower outside that visitors can use to enjoy the city view.

Unfortunately, it was almost dark when I visited. Maybe I'll climb the tower another time.

Enough for today. Thank you for reading my journey about the beautiful Al-Aqsa Mosque in Klaten City!

It is an incredible and beautiful place. It is a privilege to be able to visit these sites and enjoy their architectural design during the tour. I have never been to a mosque, I hope to do so someday. Best regards.
