Hello friends I present another post for you this time i am talking about a Mountain in Pakistan called K2 this Mountain stands at 8,611 meters (28,251 ft). Located on the Pakistan-China border in the Karakoram range, it's known for its treacherous climb and harsh weather, earning it the nickname "Savage Mountain" 😊.
K2 is in Gilgit-Baltistan, famous for its natural beauty and towering peaks. The mountain is snow-covered, with massive glaciers like Baltoro. The weather is extremely cold, with temperatures dropping and strong winds.
K2 was named by a survey team in 1856, with "K" standing for Karakoram and "2" indicating its ranking. It's considered a major challenge for climbers, with the first successful ascent in 1954 by an Italian team. The climb is deadly due to snowstorms, avalanches, and steep routes, making success rare.
K2's natural beauty is unmatched, with its pyramid shape and snow-capped peaks shining like glass. The surrounding area is a paradise for adventurers.
