Hello, Hivers! Another day, another story to share.
But first, let me ask you a question: How would it feel to know that your time is limited to explore a picturesque world, far away from your usual worries? Well, on my second day on Malapascua Island, Philippines, I felt a deep, urgent desire to soak in as much as I could in such a short period of time.

There is so much to explore on this island, but a local friend gave us an insider tip: we absolutely had to visit one of Malapascua's most famous spots: North Beach.

Unlike the bustling southern strip of the island, North Beach is wonderfully secluded. It gives off a total "private oasis" vibe where you can escape the tourist buzz, listen to the wind rustling through the palms, and just relax without any aggressive vendors interrupting your peace.

It's famous for its white sand and crystal-clear water. Seriously, the sand here is remarkably fine and powdery soft! The bright aquamarine water is exceptionally clean and shallow, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing wade or swim, especially compared to the more boat-heavy shores elsewhere on the island.
One of the absolute highlights here is a gorgeous spot known as the "Twin Coconuts."

These two trees grow close together and arch out gracefully over the white sand toward the turquoise ocean, creating a perfect, natural framing effect.

They are highly popular for photography, especially if you visit during sunrise or late afternoon when the golden light casts dramatic shadows across the sand.
Reaching North Beach is half the adventure! You have a few great options depending on your vibe:
So, if youโre planning a trip to Malapascua, don't second-guess it. It truly provides the perfect, beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of the real world.
