There are paths that might begin in Queens, boarding the 7 train—a line steeped in legends that continue to be rewritten by anonymous individuals, or perhaps not...
Paths that cross bridges, such as the Manhattan Bridge—right in the heart of Midtown Manhattan—and that can lead you to the unimaginable: an island called Rosenberg, which invites you to discover other universes.
For a Cuban, moving through these experiences—breathing them in, feeling the full flood of sensations they offer wash across one’s face—is something that defies description or comparison.
When a Cuban finds themselves in the midst of such lived experiences, they generally cannot help but sink into nostalgia for those who are unable to enjoy these opportunities—those who have never crossed a bridge, or who have never even seen a sunset.
As the hours pass, I try to turn my nostalgia into a smile and begin to say goodbye until our next journey—but not before sending each of you a warm, radiant embrace!

Para un cubano, transitar, respirar, sentir en el rostro todo el caudal de sensaciones que estas experiencias brindan, no tiene manera de describirse o compararse.
Un cubano, cuando se encuentra en estas historias vividas, no puede evitar, por lo general, sumirse en la nostalgia por aquellos que no pueden vivir estas oportunidades, aquellos que jamás han cruzado un puente, o que nunca han visto siquiera un atardecer.
Mientras las horas continúan, intento convertir la nostalgia en sonrisa y me voy despidiendo hasta un próximo viaje, no sin antes regalarles a cada uno de ustedes ¡un abrazo de luz!
