​I'm stopping by here because I feel the need to invite you to discover - and perhaps rediscover - one of the most shocking corners of the world. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I'm not just talking about a jewel of my country or my city; I'm talking about a place that competes with the most beautiful landscapes on the entire planet Earth.

​This is the Los Roques Archipelago National Park, located in the north of Venezuela.
​Where the sky and the sea get confused
​Imagine for a second beaches with such crystal clear waters and such a vibrant blue that, at times, it seems that the sea stole the color from the sky itself. Being there generates a feeling of immensity and a sense of belonging that is difficult to explain with words; it is something that simply blows your mind.

​Walking through its white sands — warm, cozy — and feeling that "tasty" climate while being surrounded by people who inspire you, turns the visit into an authentic dream trip. If I had to recommend only one place to connect with nature, it would be Los Roques, without a doubt.
​Venezuela: A treasure to be discovered
​It is true that our country has blessings around every corner. We have the ancestral magic of Canaima, the virgin peace of La Tortuga and, of course, the majesty of our Ávila (Waraira Repano) that guards the capital. Venezuela is, quite simply, moving.

​Sometimes we get the desire to cross borders and get to know other cultures — which is great —, but giving ourselves the opportunity to get to know our own gives us a much deeper look. It connects us with our traditions, with our roots and reminds us how beautiful it is to live and travel around Venezuela.

Los Roques: Un encuentro con la inmensidad azul de Venezuela

​¡Saludos, viajeros! ¿Cómo les va hoy?
​Paso por aquí porque siento la necesidad de invitarles a descubrir —y quizás redescubrir— uno de los rincones más impactantes del mundo. No exagero cuando digo que no hablo solo de una joya de mi país o de mi ciudad; hablo de un lugar que compite con los paisajes más hermosos de todo el planeta Tierra.

​Se trata del Parque Nacional Archipiélago Los Roques, ubicado al norte de Venezuela.
​Donde el cielo y el mar se confunden
​Imaginen por un segundo playas de aguas tan cristalinas y de un azul tan vibrante que, por momentos, parece que el mar le robó el color al mismísimo cielo. Estar ahí genera una sensación de inmensidad y un sentido de pertenencia que es difícil de explicar con palabras; es algo que simplemente te vuela la cabeza.

​Caminar por sus arenas blancas —cálidas, acogedoras— y sentir ese clima "sabroso" mientras te rodea gente que te inspira, convierte la visita en un auténtico viaje de ensueño. Si tuviera que recomendar un solo lugar para conectar con la naturaleza, sería Los Roques, sin lugar a dudas.

​Venezuela: Un tesoro por descubrir
​Es cierto que nuestro país tiene bendiciones en cada esquina. Tenemos la magia ancestral de Canaima, la paz virgen de La Tortuga y, por supuesto, la majestuosidad de nuestro Ávila (Waraira Repano) que custodia la capital. Venezuela es, sencillamente, conmovedora.

​A veces nos gana el deseo de cruzar fronteras y conocer otras culturas —lo cual es fantástico—, pero darnos la oportunidad de conocer lo nuestro nos brinda una mirada mucho más profunda. Nos conecta con nuestras tradiciones, con nuestras raíces y nos recuerda lo hermoso que es vivir y recorrer Venezuela.
