THE CHARM OF FLOATING VILLAGES // Enjoy the natural scenery of the afternoon in a village full of surprises

In this post, I will share my experience when visiting a tourist attraction that is currently quite viral in the city of Langsa.I got information about this tourist spot from my social media, after I researched it, it turned out that this place is in an area that I often visit, namely around the Kuala Langsa bridge area or more often I call it the floating village.

Actually, this place is just an ordinary bridge, there are no stalls or cafes there, there are only two bridges, one is the old bridge and one more is the new bridge, but the new bridge is higher than the old bridge and that is the place that is currently busy in the city of Langsa.

If we visit this bridge at 1:00 pm then we will not find any visitors there because the sun is still very hot, if we want to see and feel the excitement and crowds in this place then it is highly recommended to visit this place in the afternoon starting at 5:00 pm, at that time visitors will continue to arrive as well as street vendors.

Of course, this is an open area and the size of this bridge is also relatively wide and long so that it can accommodate many visitors who come here. Visitors who come to this place also vary, some come with family, with friends or with their partners, and it depends on each person's choice.

And now I'll begin to summarize the reasons why this bridge is so popular, from its location to the views and natural atmosphere that can be seen and experienced there. First, we can see that this bridge is in a very strategic location, namely in a floating village. The new bridge is built higher than the old bridge, so from the bridge, visitors can see the stunning natural scenery and also see the uniqueness of the floating houses neatly lined up there.

The river is a very common sight here, we can see the river to the branches of the river at once, there are also lots of small piers and fishing boats that are neatly parked, of course this is a new sight for people who rarely come to water areas.

This is a view that looks so amazing to me, look at the floating house, this housing is built very neatly on the surface of the water, from the top of the bridge the view of this housing looks so clear. This bridge is also quite close to a large river, so here we can feel the refreshing breeze.

I can conclude that mangroves are one of the most common trees in this village,we can easily find them here, even on the side of the road. I am amazed by the residents here who continue to protect and preserve the mangroves. Besides being a beautiful natural sight, mangroves also have very important benefits for nature itself, one of which is protecting the coast from abrasion and erosion.

Starting at 5:00 pm, this bridge will be filled with visitors. At first, I was confused about why visitors felt at home here, but once I visited it in person, I immediately knew the reason.Look at these two bridges which have very different appearances, the old bridge is lower and has a railing surrounding it, the new bridge is higher and more open.

I deliberately visited this bridge early because I wanted to explore it to my heart's content and I could capture every moment without missing a single moment. From the top of this bridge I could see the view of the floating village which looked very crowded, but at that time my view was diverted by a boat that was passing through a river which was right under this bridge.

Boats are also one of the main means of transportation here, and this is a very common sight that we can find in this village, what makes me a little disturbed is the sound of the boat which is quite loud and noisy, but I am sure we will get used to the sound.

I actually wanted to linger here (on the bridge), but the scorching sun was making me uncomfortable, and there was no shade at all. However, the view was so beautiful, I still wanted to enjoy it,the gentle breeze felt so cool and refreshing.

I don't remember how long I was on this bridge, but right when I wanted to leave this bridge suddenly there were some visitors who started to arrive, it turned out that their intention to come here was to fish in the river under this bridge, hearing the intentions and goals of these people made me immediately curious and I followed and accompanied them fishing, fishing is also my hobby Lol.
