Bypass or more often called Elak is an alternative route that connects Lhokseumawe City with North Aceh, this road has a very important function as a diverter of traffic from the dense area of the city center but the most important thing is that this road can speed up vehicle travel time, especially for intercity traffic. However, our main topic this time is about the natural scenery that can be enjoyed when we pass through this road, mountainous areas, rice fields to densely populated housing.
When traveling from Bireuen to Aceh Tamiang or vice versa, I always choose to pass through this road, the road is not as busy as the main road in general, the distance is also close and what is certain is very pleasant, the road conditions are also very good because 80% of it is paved, but even so, this road is quite scary to pass at night, especially if we are traveling alone.

When passing this route, we will find lots of uphill roads and in some areas we can see beautiful natural views below, I managed to capture some beautiful views while I was resting on the side of the road.

On one of the hills I can see a very beautiful natural view, the expanse of nature and the vast blue ocean, but this is a view that I can only see on the side of the road.

On the side of the road I also managed to find a tourist spot that had been abandoned, there were no huts or chairs, there was only an open area and the remains of a hut, in this area I also took the time to rest for a moment, and the natural scenery that I could see from this area was also very amazing.
On normal days the road conditions are very quiet, but we still have to be careful when passing this road because almost 60% of vehicles passing this road will definitely drive their vehicles at high speed.

Seeing the good and straight road conditions also made me want to increase my vehicle's speed Lol. I can't remember how many times I've passed this road, many things and experiences have happened here, ranging from exciting to tense experiences.

Oh yes, when we pass this road, we will also be able to find lots of local rice fields, each rice field area has a different shape and view, on the side of the road I also managed to capture the beauty of a rice field view filled with young rice plants.
Now look at this rice field area, do you see something different and unique there.?

If seen visually, this rice field area is located at the foot of the hills, the rice fields are filled with young rice, but that is something normal that we can see in rice fields. The difference lies in the way the farmers here protect their rice from bird pests, look at the many colorful plastic bags tied parallel above the rice fields, there are also many small huts standing in the middle of the rice fields, and several farmers are also there
However, I myself do not know how the colorful plastic bags tied over the rice fields work, but what is certain is that this is one way to protect their rice from bird pests.
