MANGROVE TOURISM // Walking on a wooden bridge in the middle of the Langsa River mangrove forest - The perfect place to enjoy nature and silence

Good night to all my beloved hive friends ❤️

In this post, I will share an experience I had visiting a mangrove tourist destination in Kuala Langsa village. It's not the only tourist spot there, but it's certainly one of the most interesting. It's built right in the middle of a lush mangrove forest, quite close to the main river in Langsa city. Here, we can experience the sensation of walking on a bridge built over the water's surface, and even during high tide, the water will be very close to the edge of the bridge, the fish swimming there will be a sight that will amaze us.

Like most natural tourist destinations in Aceh, this tourist spot also only becomes crowded in the afternoon, coincidentally at that time I visited this place at 01.00 pm and there was not a single person there, even in the parking area there was only my motorbike.

As soon as I entered this tourist spot, I was immediately greeted by a very refreshing natural atmosphere, the breeze felt so cool that it made me forget about the hot sun.

There is only one main bridge to lead to the big river, but there are several branches of the bridge that will lead to the cottage area, we can choose which cottage we want to occupy, each cottage has its own type and characteristics and with different views, for example I will occupy the cottage at the very end, so the view that I can see will be much clearer and wider.

I don't understand the facilities of the huts here, but in the hut there are also several chairs and tables provided for visitors to rest. However, I myself prefer huts that are designed so that you can sit directly on the floor, I don't know. There are several huts that really caught my attention, especially the huts with sago leaf roofs. Sago leaf roofs do look very traditional compared to zinc roofs which look more modern, but if we discuss function and comfort, sago leaf roofs are superior. Under the hot sun, sago leaf roofs become roofs that can not only block sunlight but also provide freshness that zinc roofs do not have.

Some of the tourist attractions here are also built very close together, even from one place we can see other attractions which of course have their own characteristics. I don't know how long this wooden bridge is, but if it is still long enough, I'm sure I can still walk, this is inseparable from what I can see from the top of this bridge, hugged by the fresh mangrove trees and accompanied by the calm natural scenery around.

When I arrived at the end of the bridge, I immediately realized that this place was still relatively new, because at the end there were still several hut areas that were still being built, at that time I chose to sit in the hut at the far right.Oh yes, at that time I ordered a very refreshing drink, namely young coconut ice plus savory Aceh noodles.

I did this trip alone so I didn't have any friends to tell or talk to, but sometimes being alone is something that must be tried so that we understand that this world is so perfect to be enjoyed, being alone is boring but calming, nature was a witness at that time, how the gusts of wind and the natural scenery managed to entertain me with its magic.

Now right in front of me is a large Langsa river which is one of the routes for fishermen to go to the open sea, and the river is also one of the routes to Pusong Island. This is a sight that would be a shame to miss, the scenery is beautiful and calm and we will be entertained by several boats that will continue to sail on the river, there are small boats and there are also large ones and they vary.

As we all know, mangrove trees have an important role for nature, one of which is to prevent erosion and coastal abrasion, and also become an important habitat for aquatic creatures. According to the information I know, the trunk of the mangrove tree can also be used as charcoal, but I don't know the process, the important thing is that this tree is very important for life.

After an hour, finally the visitors started to arrive, many visitors came with their families, small children really like water and they looked happy playing in the water on the river bank, I witnessed this incident with my own eyes and it made me very happy.
