IDI RAYEOK TOURISM // The charm of the Aceh Timu Regent's office and the reflection of nature in the small lake

This is one of the natural tourist destinations that should not be missed when we are in Aceh Timu, precisely in Idi Reyeok District. "Idi Rayeok itself is the capital and center of government of Aceh Timu Regency." In front of the East Aceh Regent's office, we can find many natural tourist destinations and other tourist destinations, but one of the tourist destinations that really caught my attention was a lake with clean water that reflects beautiful natural reflections,in the edge of this lake there are many stalls and street vendors.

This is the road that leads to the Aceh Timu government complex, there are lots of trees growing along the roadside, nature is our best friend here.

Even here we can find several small parks made on the side of the road or in the middle of the intersection. In my first experience visiting this place, I managed to find many visitors who came with their families, they chose to travel here and sit on the grass while doing various exciting activities such as grilling fish or chicken, I think this is a very interesting and exciting thing to do especially if done with our loved ones.

On my way from Aceh Tamiang to Bireuen city or vice versa, I always make time to stop by this place, there are so many tourist destinations that can be visited here, rest, enjoy the natural scenery and feel the tranquility of nature, and meet many new people.

This is the lake I mean, I don't know whether this is an artificial lake or a lake that was formed by natural factors, on the edge of this lake there are many tourist destinations lined up and it is up to each visitor to choose where to stop.

The water in this lake used to be crystal clear, but now it looks a bit murky, perhaps due to a lot of things happening without our awareness. The water is incredibly calm, and the reflections of nature are clearly visible, making it a beautiful sight to be enjoyed at any time. Like most tourist attractions in Aceh, this spot is also busy in the afternoon, especially during major holidays.

However, if you simply want to enjoy the natural scenery, you can visit this place early in the morning,the quietness can also provide a wonderful sense of serenity. I think this tourist spot is perfect for visiting with family, as there are so many exciting things to do here.

This tourist spot is also very close to the Aceh Timu regent's office, from this place we can see the natural scenery and also the view of the magnificent regent's office building, in essence it would be a shame if we missed this place when passing the Medan-Banda Aceh road.

This is the view of the East Aceh regent's office building, but it is very unfortunate that this magnificent building is now abandoned, there are many things and reasons regarding the abandonment of this regent's office, but the strongest reason is because it was looted by thieves after being empty without guards for the past two months, but this is the information I got from local residents, I don't know whether this information is true or not.
