RE: An afternoon at Amersfoort

Amersfoort is a fun city! I learned that hard way to do trips there by train rather than by car (40 min drive), but the walled city is car-free except for exemptions. Google maps ignores this and plots you through the inner city and the fine (€130,-) is a good reminder to take the train next time!

But, Amersfoort has quite some nice spots, also the Zoo is pretty fun for daytrip with kids!

Any plans to get near The Hague or Rotterdam next few days?
