Into the cold Himalayan Desert. Entering Ladakh.

Just driving by and and then unexpected turn brought us here brought us that made us go beyond drive beyond the places, unknown beyond, just driving for more than hundred and hundreds of kilometres. So was this particular afternoon when early morning we were headed from Manali Himachal Pradesh and went all the way closer to the Ladakh region in the higher Himalayas

Drove near about five hours street from Manali and reached at this high altitude, Mountain closer to a place called Sarchu. The endless high altitude, great mountain plains and the weather also looked so beautiful, so fresh and it felt like that for a moment we were at the top of the world. It was literally a beautiful endless grassland with very little grass, but a huge ground at the top and moreover, now it was turning point where you would head straight to Ladakh region.

The vegetation being very less with these few patches of grass and vegetation that only grow at such an high altitude place as the place was above the tree line and hardly any sort or vegetation grew at this place.

We could see few houses are more over. I would say not sure about what they were, and few trucks driving through the road. It had been near about more than 300 km since we were driving early morning, and we were finally closer to a place closer to our destination in Ladakh Himalayas.

The straight roads at high altitude place and it felt like that we could drive for hours and hours as the view it was so beautiful so magic and after every single turn, we could see a whole lot of beautiful landscape right in front of our eyes.

With these beautiful mountains, all dry and in winter season, the whole place turning Paradise and get under thick sheet of snow that lasts for half the Time of the year and it is only the time throughout the year when this place it seems like it is right now altitude. It was more than 4500 m above the sea level and the mountain peaks. Most of them unknown unclaimed. The place was quite remote and isolated.

So that was how our journey kind of throughout, we really enjoyed, and now sharing these moments with you. Through this post, capturing the photographs in different perspective, different angles so that you guys could also get the first hand experience of such beautiful places from the Himalayas.
