Crossing the Broken Bridge in the High Himalayas

IMG_1464.jpeg

Julley Everyone,

Every single day, every single new adventure, that is something that has been going on all the way the moment when I got to realise that I am someone who is into adventure activities and who loves mountains beyond anything and loves to make every single day of his life, a day filled with adventure, so was this beautiful day out here today in the Himalayas, my friends journey out this moment from the expedition that I went on later before the winter season just came at the place and here are few of the moments, and this moment that I would call crossing the broken bridge.

So the journey begin something like this, we were driving all the way towards the opposite side of Lahul Valley in Himachal Pradesh. Firstly, we drove all the way to the place called Sissu. And then followed by being the opposite side to know that there is a road, there is a route that just goes all the way to the other Valley the Spiti Valley and we had few days of the adventure that we just made it separate once throughout our calendar and made our work other work to be less priority, then focusing on and giving these few days of the holiday, a full boost to the adventure.

Particular, all the driving. It took us about four hours, went straight and ended up to this place where the journey of this moment starts the moment of crossing the broken Bridge all the way we reached at this portion, where it was a steep followed by the broken iron bridge that we had to cross, and it was literally the bridge that we could feel was hanging and was placed over the Harsh terrains at the place.

Followed by the views of these extreme locations around the place, the higher himalayan mountain ranges, it was truly a whole lot of a different experience that I had when I was at this place, exploring these locations truly somewhere not less than a dream as everything looked so fantastic and so dreamy, the higher himalayan mountain ranges, and the mountain peak, ranging more than beyond 4000 m above the sea level and currently also we were at an altitude of more than 3500 m above the sea level after driving from quite a lot of time, we asked few of the local people that were coming from the opposite direction that will we might be able to get a place to stay beyond because turn back from the place like this in these remote locations was really so difficult all the way so we decided to cross the broken bridge and be on the other side, few of the people from the car, the people that were with me, my friends and my brother and my cousin, we have to get out of the car so that the car could easily cross the bridge because it was a steep uphill first, and then followed by the broken bridge

It was truly so magical moment, my friends where the moment I ended up, driving all the way from city Delhi all the way to the mountains and got to see this beautiful heavenly view followed by truly these locations, the place being as dry as it seems like, and most of the time of the year, the place getting covered with the thick sheet of snow that last for quite a lot of time throughout the year.

IMG_1485.jpeg
It literally felt like that it was a desert and truly, indeed it was as it was the land between the cold himalayan Desert high altitude mountain peaks, make this place so isolated and so remote that even the GPS on my smart watch was struggling to find out that where we were because there were these countless number of valleys all the way, and if we hike and explore such valleys, it was really so difficult to find even our own location because the land was so remote and isolated.

If there weren't cars in these photos, you could easily tell people that you were walking on the Moon! It's amazing how inaccessibly looks, almost the same as some sand desert, but with rocks...

Good to hear that you succeed to past that broken bridge, as going back after so many hours would be a huge bummer...
