Jeep safari adventure in Chitwan National Park
There are some trips that stay in our heart forever, our recent travel to the chitwan national park is one of them.
Chitwan national park is a protected area that is located in mid Nepal in the chitwan, Nawalparasi, Parsa and Bara district. It is located around 150 kilometres from the capital Kathmandu.
We gathered early in the morning with full of excitement to see the wildlife and natural scenes.
The jeep ride in the forest that is full of wild animals is truly an adventure. We had a local guide and a driver with us.
Beautiful lake located at the middle of the park. It is an important spot that provides water to the wildlives.
An amazing experience was an encounter with the one horned rhinoceros. There are around 800-1000 protected one horned rhinoceros here that makes this park an excellent place for wildlife photographers.
We climbed the three storey building that is the view tower also known as Machaan in local language. This building is a perfect spot to view the river and wildlives that come here to drink water.
Driving through the grasslands, forests paths, rivers and lakes was an amazing experience.
The best part was having a quality time with the loved ones. Everyone were happy, laughing, clicking photos and enjoying the beautiful atmosphere.
Although wildlife sightings depend on the luck, each moment in the forest was full of excitement. The wild chickens and local pheasants were adding beauty to the trees.
Beautiful peacocks dancing and flaunting their feathers. It was a beautiful moment.

The rhino is amazing! How close were you? Was it dangerous, or did the animals seem accustomed to the jeeps?
It was about 50 metres from us. It usually do not attack the visitors and jeep safaris unless they fell insecure. But there are many incidents of rhino attacks in this area.
I would be a little scared because I know that it is an animal that causes many victims.
